The scene with the brother at the museum wrecked me. I'm not one to cry easily, but these tears were real. Life is definitely worth the watch even though it's a slower moving show at times. I rated it 8/10.
This drama is excellent until the halfway point and then turns into a nonsensical melodrama focused on the characters no one cares about...but that seems to a be trend in Aaron Yan dramas.
I personally liked the ambiguous ending. Kdramas have the tendency to finish wrapped up in pretty little bows with flowers and sunshine at the end--everyone is coupled, traitorous friends are forgiven, and family reputation saved--but this one is a somber ending to go with a somber show.
Aaaand they never said Jang Do Han was dead, just that he'd be lucky to make it through the night.
