I think Chen Yi asked Ai Di to let Bai Zong Yi walk away so that he can lead a normal life now that he has no…
Ah! I think I am finally understanding a spoiler I saw shared somewhere ——>. the loss of memory…So it seems that brutal prison attack led to a loss of memory ? If that is the case, how come he said something about wondering if Fan Rui remembers him after 4 years ? Random but wow Chen Rui is always looking hot 🔥.
I went back to the first episode and it seems Ai Di was in prison to take care of Zong Yi. not sure why Chen Yi didn’t give Zong Yi a ride into town… I am crushed that he lost out on his dream of going to medical school…
some amazing chemistry in this series and a great storyline. not sure why the rating is relatively low. Too bad we have to wait 2 weeks thanks to the unfortunate leak…
I so wanted to wait and binge this but the spoilers were too much, and we got episode 8 a week early.
wooooooooow ! I didn’t know what you meant about “Episode 8” being a week early. went to Viki and found it is coming out today. what a shocking surprise ! I really wonder if it is a mistake. looking forward to it. yay!
I have a wild theory that Chen Yi is not in love with the boss - like we are all meant to believe…but loves him like a son who believes the boss is his father….faintly reminiscent of HIStory 3: Trapped. Meanwhile, Chen Yi has been in romantic love with Ai Di all this time…just a wild thought lol.
I mean to be fair, Chen Yi did asked Ai Di how to get his boss to like him. Then he continued to make fun of him…
what you said makes sense and recognizes that Ai Di wants Chen Yi to get over whatever feelings he seems to have for their boss before making a move on him. For everyone else rushing to label the kiss as sexual harassment or sexual assault, I hope they will be comfortable when the storyline pivots and the two end up in a relationship.
on another note, I think I am in the minority in believing that Chem Yi’s feelings for the boss are not romantic love…but rather he suspects that he is his son…but I may be wrong. just thinking back on the History Trapped storyline….
he has a bit of taiwanese accent also if u noticed
I also thought expanding his audience reach was why he took up the role but I am curious about whether such a role would have negative consequences for his Cdrama career…given that such roles are less acceptable in mainland China compared to Taiwan…but I guess being in a well-reserved BL can get you some serious mileage that makes it all worth it !
So far so good. what I am most curious has nothing to do with the series. I am wondering why a relatively young actor from mainland China ( who has been in a fair amount of cdramas in supporting roles) decides to take up a lead role in a Taiwanese BL series? Does anyone have some background info about this bold move ?
I was rooting for Sand and Ray but I think Sand deserves better than someone in love with their friend. I still can’t imagine any of these couples staying together. I think Nick should end up with that other guy, Ray needs rehab, Boston and Top need to stay single….pretty sure Top and Sand will end up being brothers……the writing is all over the wall on that…all the ingredients of enemies to brothers…but if Sand has tried to reach out to his dad, then he would know he is not related to Top though…
