I have a feeling that the series is dropping in ratings because a lot of international fans are either frustrated with the epic delays in subtitles coming out or some are BL fans hoping for more of the BL story. I am enjoying the pacing and the slow burn love but the subtitles delay is killing me ! I tried to move on and wait for more episodes to be released but I am finding the plot too riveting to let go…
Omg. I’ve been watching GMMTV dramas for so long but still I failed to notice that there has been an exact partner switch…Podd and Gawin were paired together as Mork and Sun in Dark Blue Kiss….Podd went on to be paired with Khaotung in Tonhon Chonlatee and Gawin went on to be paired with First in Not Me. Now Khaotung has been paired with First…..personally, I like First with Khaotung and Gawin with Podd…
No youre not the only one. I have said before that it kinda bugs me since you can also feel that some scenes were…
I did see UWMA when it first came out and I vaguely recall that lol. Thanks for the info on First’s hand….that would explain the differences in appearance.
I'm very mad at what Thua did but i'm not at the same time cause they all are the bad guy. Well except wat and…
I don’t agree that Chadok was the reason Dika killed himself. Dika suffered from depression and even after he left the school, they continued. Chadok tried to do the best for him. It was so sad for me to watch Chadok being confronted by Ayan - who ultimately had no clue about the nature of his uncle’s relationship with Chadok. Chadok also lost out on the love of his life and we the viewers were led to believe that he was pure evil when there was more to the story. In hindsight he could have stood up to the principal or left the school but he is…human.
The flow was a little strange from Part 3 to Part 4. I mean suddenly all was mended with Thua. I love the series but the cutting together or different scenes is apparent since Khaotung’s hair visibly changes and is cut shorter in some scenes compared to others. Also noticed that AJ’s hair changes as well.
Episode 11 was my favorite yet in terms of the explosive tension. I do agree that part 4 seemed to be disconnected from the other 3 parts. Am I the only one bothered by Khaotung’s changing hair lengths? Whenever they go to the beach or are at swimming pool the sides of his hair are visibly cut much shorter. Part 4 also has Khaotung with shorter hair and Aj (Wat) with a different hairstyle. It is obvious they filmed different scenes at different times…Neo and First’s hair are consistently the same. The different hair styles really bothered me in 2Gether because Bright’s hair kept changing from scene to scene. Anyway…everyone is rallying against Thua and the outing. Sure he shouldn’t have but we are forgetting that they are teens and many are also looking at ‘outing’ from a very contemporary western perspective. Thua was trying to make the point that Ayan’s judgement was clouded by romantic love and it would not have been enough to just say Ayan was protecting his friend Akk. Sure it wasn’t right but he wanted the truth completely out….although conveniently leaving out his own role in perpetuating the curse myth…
16 or 28 eps? Some thai audiences said only 16 eps???
IMDb shows 16 episodes. That actually sounds more realistic than 28. I can’t imagine that they will be able to stretch the current storylines beyond 16 episodes
I think I have to drop this one….until January. I can’t take the agony of waiting for subtitles. Really enjoying the Tian -Jiu storyline - so delicious. Btw, loving Yang and Tian’s brotherly relationship too. Would hate to see them torn apart. Random but at some point I thought there was no way the actress playing Chan could be Yang’s mother IRL. If you check their age difference, it is actually possible if she had him at 16!
So why does it have low rating here? It is so fun and good to watch. Anyways, I recommend this a lot 😍
Haven’t rated it yet Episode 1 was lukewarm for me and episode 2 was much better…for me. Hoping Episode 3 will be even better. Perhaps other people are not quite into it yet. The rating is also based on a small number of people. I think it is unfair to rate it so soon.
do you think someone that usually watches bl dramas would like this (im very open minded when it comes to international…
I am a long time BL lover and I have never seen a mainstream Thai lakorn but loving this series so far. I have skipped over the other storyline due to lack of interest. This series reminds me of Mexican /Venezuelan /Filipino telenovelas - very dramatic and full of over the top evil characters creeping around at night. I would argue that this is not quite BL but more gay….If that makes sense…I think you should at least try the first episode. I would recommend not watching it now because you may become sucked in like the rest of us….
