After watching 15, I knew 16 would be flat and it was. The kimchi gathering and dinner was sooo cliched and cringy that I skipped through it. The situations and dialogues given to the main leads were pathetic, but as usual SIG and PBY elevated the script. Truly it was the main cast, including Dawon, that kept this boat afloat. Without them DAYS would have sunk without a trace in ep 2 itself.
It just struck me if we took all the clips of the lead couple together so far (ep 15) and ran it we still wouldn't get a love story worth watching, and it would be about 12 minutes long.
The relationship between the main leads touches a new bland high in ep 15. The little deity with the flower pot does deliver some moving lines, which was nice. The second leads have at least one crackling scene together, but the leads don't. Well, one more episode to see these two on screen.
She was supposed to be at the safe house. The military had requested her to stay there. Nobody expected her to…
I agree 💯%. I hold her dad responsible for that death. Miss Hysteria should have been put under a psychiatrist's care 24/7. Her father knew the type of work these guys did but he let her run loose. She screwed up that operation, forced them into grayer territory, which eventually led to the guys's death. Ideally that father should have been stripped of rank and sent off to some no-damage-possible job. She contributed for sure to her boyfriend's death.
Still waiting for Ep 14 on kissasian. I'm enjoying this drama, but the love story is taking very long to get off the ground. I guess they'll show them starting their relationship officially in Ep 16., as partners in love n working together
The Filipino version is unwatchable. The hospital scenes put me off right away. The slo mo. Even in non-slo mo the doctor was so, well, slow in dishing out care. Even the supermarket scene, Totally unbelievable. And I'm not a medical professional of any sort, only was married to one in the armed forces. Even though I'm not from the Philippines, army and medical folk tend to move and react in way that's sort of similar globally. The lead couple was way off on both counts. Also I felt the FL was too preoccupied with getting the SHK look just right. There were drops in continuity. Almost all the acting by the leads looked hammy. Overall I couldn't get past the third episode. I saw the Vietnamese version, without subtitles, and it was waaaay better than the Filipino version. The lead cast were very good. The second leads, the male actor was good but the female SL mostly looked surly through the series and had zero chemistry with the second male lead, he looked really young compared to her. Not that that matters, but neither was able to react to the other and convince the audience they were in love. They didn't even bring across an acquaintance vibe ☹️. I tend to blame her. Anyway I scrolled past all the second leads' scenes. Sorry for being so critical
