I just started this and it’s not the usual ML, and I can’t seem to like him… but I am seeing a lot of reviews that they were blown away by this, so I’m staying. I guess just want to know at which episode he’s going to be likable
Is it worth it to watch? happy ending? anything I need to prepare for to set my expectation? because I’m quite hesitant to watch when the dramas have below 8 as rating, but I am also seeing varying comments saying they really liked it…
btw, I liked Zhou Yi Ran in when i fly towards you
I agree with all the positive comments below. This is in my view the cutest c-drama I have ever seen and I’ve seen quite a lot.
I usually lose interest once the leads get together as sometimes it can get cringe-y and there are unnecessary breakups or fights while they are in a relationship, just to create some drama. But there’s none of that here. I savor every moment the leads are together - they are so cute together and have the most incredible chemistry. I just want to see more of them - I could watch a whole season of their every day married life even with their baby. Now, how can I move on?
i'm not a fan of the trope myself (who really is) but imo she's really not that annoying. there are way worse.…
Thanks so much! I’m more motivated to continue watching this now because of all the things you said above, especially if her appearance will bring the ML & FL closer. ❤️ I also love a good character development, so happy to hear that she is not going to be a typical villainous ex-gf like in other dramas.
Saw the “ex-gf comes back” tag, and I really hate this trope. I’m quite concerned how annoying the ex-gf will get. Is she going to be really annoying, bearable, or will her character only make the leads closer? Just want to prepare myself :)
I’m at episode 14, and here I thought FL’s mother would behave better, but she never fails to surprise me about how bad of a mother she is. Can’t she just try to listen and understand her daughter for once? Such an immature mother, she would always say harsh and hurtful things to FL and then act like she’s right and being fair all the time, but her action says otherwise as she’s nothing but kind and gentle to the cousin and keeps on comparing her to FL. Why can’t she be like that to her own daughter? Gosh, she’s making my blood boil each time she appears on screen. Good thing all the other characters and scenes make up for it, and I’m really enjoying everything about this (except for the mother).
And my heart aches at all these almost rape scenes of Kate. I felt insulted and violated being a woman.
I made this comment about 2 years ago, but thanks for taking time to comment also. Good to hear a man’s perspective about this and who understands that these kinds of actions are NEVER OKAY.
Whaaa what’s happening. I’m a bit put off by the comments, so I’m thinking that maybe I should wait for the last episode to be out before continuing to watch ep 11 onwards. I love Bright and Win sooo much and I don’t want to hate on their characters as much as possible.
Um?!?! That word you used to describe Duen's eye-smile is a racist slur that is derogatory and offensive.
Yes, I’m perceptive. That’s why I can belt out such observation about one’s acting without being biased just because I liked a show (unlike some other people I know). Thanks for the “compliment” about being perceptive, by the way. Lol.

You know, you cannot always live your life afraid to say what’s on your mind and deny yourself of your own opinion, just because that’s “how the world works”. Keep in mind that you cannot please everyone, and there will always be people who are super sensitive that they find almost about everything you say offensive. Thanks for sharing your opinion though.

Wow people nowadays are just so ultra sensitive. They take offense about almost everything. You cannot even give an honest opinion nowadays without being called a racist. Lol.
