Love the FL attitude with the 2nd lead no room for an immature guy like him needed.
I totally agree! And I have no sympathy for the 2nd lead to be honest. He’s so fickle and as you said, so immature. I feel like he really doesn’t know what he wants.
It was good for the first 10 episodes but acting became repetitive and the storyline went downhill and predictable from there. This was the first drama of Choi Daniel that I watched, and I liked his character here, so maybe I’ll try watching other dramas he’s on. But the female lead’s character (Yoon Yi) made me cringe in some episodes. I admit there were cutesy scenes between the leads which made me go as far as episode 11. But there were really times that it’s so cheesy and cringy AF that I had to fast forward some scenes. Maybe the script was to blame and not the actors. But I had enough so I’ll be dropping this.
My Mister 2018! I'm actually coming from it and thinking if I should start this one...
Hey... it was weird, totally not something I expected. I was surprised at the FL’s character, and I don’t know if I’m going to pity her, because she has this attitude that annoys people around her. I stopped watching at some point, cause I somehow feel it might get depressing. It’s something that I may still get back to, but right now, I’m on Kdrama hiatus, and I’m stuffing myself with anime instead. :)
The FL is pitiful and sometimes has no sense of shame that it makes me cringe. Also, no offense meant to the translator, but it’s hard trying to make sense of the english subs sometimes. I like the movie to some extent but the subs kind of dampen the enjoyment I feel in watching this.
I quite don’t get the hype on this. I just finished the first episode, and while the plot looks interesting, the way they deliver the story (like they were shooting a documentary with all these interviews and monologues), I suddenly found myself getting bored. I am not sure now if I should continue as it may just be a waste of my time. And also, I may be in the minority here, but I don’t find the male lead charming.
I can’t feel their connection/chemistry, no matter how many kisses they do. And sorry to say this, but I couldn’t really trust Yamato. He’s always super nice to other girls, and I think that would always make Mei insecure about their relationship. Even if he quitted as a model, I don’t think it addressed/resolved their real problem, because there would be a lot of Megu that may come in between them.
This drama is far from perfect, but for some reason I really love it!!! It’s the kind of fluffy drama where you cannot stop no matter how cliche the storyline gets. Yoon Eun Hye is so adorable (as always) and Chun Jung Myung looks so cute whenever he smiles. They are so great together!
My heart is weak when it comes to violence and abuse, so I’m concerned that hazing is a main theme in this drama. Also, I haven’t watched a full BL drama yet (I have watched dramas with gay couple as secondary characters only and I can’t say I hate it, but I don’t exactly love it as well). But I’m really curious about the super high rating. Should I still watch this?
I’m on episode 3, and wow, I’m so angry at that scene where Kate’s mom drags her around and sells off her daughter without remorse. She is really a BAD MOM, and she doesn’t deserve to be called a mother. She’s doing that to protect her family? Come on, how is that even called “protecting” when she’s sending her daughter to the lion’s den in a silver platter. Gaaah I’m so mad at her!!!!
Omg the BTS scenes give me hope that Lee Min Ki might be attracted to Seo Hyun Jin. I try hard not to ship them in real life, but it’s so difficult not to, when they looked much much cuter in the BTS than in the actual scenes in the drama.
okay, so the red shoes in Sang Ryul home - is his wife Bons former lover? meaning she didn't die & it was a staged…
Can I ask how did you arrive at that conclusion? I mean what are the clues pointing to the possibility that the wife in red shoes is Bon’s former lover?
I hear you! I had to start watching a BL drama (well, not totally BL), The Boy Next Door, to quench my sudden thirst for BL, after seeing this episode. :)
I totally agree!! I love the progress of their relationship in this episode. Also, their romance was subtle but... exciting. I hope 1 week passes by so quickly, can’t wait for episode 7.
Lee Da Hee and Ahn Jae Hyun are fantastic right now. At first I thought maybe it was all coincidence but now I’m…
I don’t know if I am going to ship them at this point. I just love the comic relief that their scenes offer, but somehow, I want Ahn Jae Hyun to become a priest at the end. Lol.
All in all, this is okay to past time. 7/10
