I don't think Rosa's subplot is unnecessary, in fact, I have a feeling it will strongly have an effect to Miji, with her path in what she wants to do in her life.
The story was always intended as Miji's, if you go to episode 1, she is the one telling her story.
I'm both impressed and relieved with MiHo's development. I was nervous it would follow the tired and often toxic formula of the domineering FL x submissive ML (as so many kdramas love to do ๐)....THANKFULLY, that is not the case and instead we get a couple who feel like true partners that complement on another seamlessly ๐ฅฐ.
What I appreciate the most so far is that each character is given depth, with their own internal struggles and distinct perceptions of their relationships. It's an intricate little web of connections that really makes the story feel human and touching. All the while avoiding the usual Slice of Life fatigue of being either too melo or too dull.
It's been a year of me not really completing most dramas i start or hoping for the best just for things to to take a nose dive, but OUS has kept me seated the longest, it really has become such a instant source of comfort for me.
I sincerely hope the quality continues and the story proceeds as beautifully as I found it when I first started.
And although we're barely a third of the way through the series, I've seen poor Mirae getting dragged when we've only really explored Miji's trauma in 4 out of 12 episodes. ๐
Wish folks would let the story unfold before cementing their theories lol
I'm a Jinyoung stan and i must say i literally have to look up for update for this. Their promo for this is terrible…
Someone brought up a great point, that with bc of the filming closing on such a tight deadline there may have not been enough time to send the actors off to promo b4 the show premires...
HOWEVER, CJENM is still doing a pretty lackluster job at drumming up literally anything. >.>
Mirae is the elite daughter but feels pressured to maintain that image. Over time, she becomes depressed. Miji,…
My theory is that they start to switch after Mirae goes to the hospital due to the stress of her work environment, with Miji being the one to offer the idea.
They mentioned it was like Anne of Green Gables and that makes sense with both characters being in completely new environments, so they both discover themselves in places they otherwise would never be in
Hello fellow Witch viewers, are we ready for tomorrow?๐
Hopefully, we can have some interesting discussions and dissect what happens without getting clogged with repetitive posts about people dropping the show because itโs too boring for THEM. ๐
Please spoil the movie and webtoon, were they a HE
Yes, but I would def say the romance is secondary & Mystery is primary. ML's love isn't direct in the same sense as it would be in other dramas, given certain factors surrounding FL (Law of Death), but they do eventually get together, so it's bittersweet

I also found WLGYT boring, and dropped halfway thru ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I want to see it in its complete form ๐

I wasn't really satisfied with the leads most recent works, so hoping for the best, i know tvn is too
When will it be acknowledged how certain actors have immunity due to bandwagon favoritism, while others are nit-picked to no end.
It really isn't fair.
I tend to lurk, but I figured I might as well give it a shot bc of all the pessimistic peeps๐
