There's bad, there's horrible.....and way below all those there is this. The director, producer, so called actors (aside from Pepper who really carried it as far as anyone could) and the writer completely checked out of this project. It didn't even struggle it just came out the lane on a flatline.

Just beautiful. Everything about it. Don't confuse it with a BL, it is not. This is an LGBTQ movie.

Much better than I expected it would be based on the reviews etc. Its not perfect and a bit patchy which i think may be due to translation issues.

Agreed I have only just seen him in Doctor Prisoner but already love the change in his character when in Prison
You're going to love him in Penthouse. The way he displays emotions with his eyes alone is very captivating.

Lol. I read ahead to give myself a heads up on what to expect. Not sure if I will bother to finish this.
The writers were just not prepared, they had so much happening and too many loose ends...its as if one day they freaked out and realized they were in over their heads. The story line crashed midway and I was really hanging on for the end, which I had hoped would explain everything, hence my disappointment. I also hung on for the FL because she's a memorable character with her spunky personality and strength. If you do finish/go back to it, please post your thoughts on it too.

It had the most useless and abrupt end. It started really well and then just nose dived.

There is absolutely no chemistry between the leads. Zero. I am a fan of both leads, so I was looking forward to this series so much, but its sooo bad. As much as I love Dilraba, had this been the first series I saw with her, I would avoid the rest of her work, her performance is very underwhelming.

I mean...after all that, we get the answers to absolutely NOTHING. It was a decent ride until the end, when the writer's clearly decided that April Fool's day should last forever,

Is anyone never watch this drama and wanna give first I can give you a clue for this drama that the first 10 episode…
I really needed to see this because while I'm not really bored, the lead Female character is frustrating . If not for the fact that I'm interested in other characters so far, I would drop it because of her. And I love Dilraba , but I can't stand her character. I now have hope that she does improve. I'm now at episode 10.

I'm talking about a scene after the rape. I was pretty sure that Keng will leave Shin on the floor and leave his…
That's because...as we see later...P'Keng felt he was justified. In the moment he thought he had an excuse for doing what he did and that because he "loved" Shin, Shin would forgive him. He seemingly kept this notion up through the entire series as we see him repeatedly asking Shin to give him a chance and to forgive him because he "loved" him. From his view point, it was never really that serious...ugh, like when he pulled out the recording on Shin...like what the hell!

I'm actually approving of the writer's decision to make him that way because not only is it intensly realistic, but it gave no room for others to start having unnecessary sympathy for him.

Title The Effect Spoiler
This show had me feeling so many different emotions, especially the ending, but that’s not what I want to talk…
I really love that you gave some focus to N'man who completely escaped consequences. As the catalyst to it all, the person who started everything with malicious intentions...he walked away unaffected, unpunished...never once did we see someone else really hold him accountable (P' keng doesn't count). And that really infuriated me.

Unfortunately , the notion that if someone confesses it should be reciprocated, is harsh reality. Its not just in Asian dramas, in fact it's so saturated in Western media that at times we dont even realize it's there until it leads to tragedy. The most unfortunate of all though is that over the past few years we have seen in the news how many people are killed for turning down someone's advances/confession. It's a painfully, unfair dose of reality
