I really like this drama...so sad is only 12 episodes..why so short??
the story telling here makes it feel l like they're building up for a second season, but I don't think seasons is part of Korean Drama culture. Though I really hope so.

Problem with this show is: 1- Old Fashioned hero character. 2- Court Room over drama, clapping, cheering and all…
sadly yes, its upsetting that Kang Sora is so weak of a character and doesn't have any impression, and Kim Dongjun isn't there any more when he and the big guy were so cute with a strong dynamics.

Reading all ur comments made me not to watch it
No no, watch it, it's really unique. the cases they bring are dangerous especially the last episode (about Buddhist exorcism) also next week about online streaming like my little television and how people ruin themselves for money.
It's true there's some holes in the main story line (San and his Vampire thing), but the cinematography, editing, every episode stand alone story, cast and amount of thrill is soooo good. every cast member, even the supporting ones, are really impressive.

Problem with this show is:
1- Old Fashioned hero character.
2- Court Room over drama, clapping, cheering and all that not so realistic behaviour.
3- twists and turns are somehow predictable.
4- Kang Sora has a weaker presence and impression than the support loan shark gang and the female assistant, these supporting cast should've had longer screen time and bigger rule.
if they didn't have these flows, the show would leave much stronger impression and would have a strong chance in the award season.

This show is really great! I don't know why people rate it so low, because it's deserve more than this. Even tho…
Flower boys bring popularity but not high reviews (The Heirs is what comes to mind).

I guess the rating is really fair if you consider how high the quality of Dramas have been in the latest few years, another factor that will degrade the show is the Heroitic style, also the over drama on the court room. honestly it's so old fashioned, and what kind of coincidence brings most of CEO Jung's problems to the Mr.Joe?
it would be much much better if they upped their game and let the lawyer take a legal battle against someone else to expand the horizon of the show, also if they reduced the court room drama, as well as give the supporting actors (especially the loan shark gang because they're way more exciting than Kang Sora and the firm company people, the big guy is cute, Kim Dongjun is an excellent actor and I wonder why he is not there anymore, and the loan shark himself is hilarious. Let alone the female assistant lol. they're the best support group in the drama).
the show is really good but old fashioned, they need to up their game.

So, we're almost halfway through the series and I keep wondering if they're ever going to address the elephant…
I think they're saving up for the last 2 or 3 episodes and will have something like a collective flasjback focusing on San's character, that, or they're planning on season 2 that's why they're keeping somethings hidden, cause at this rate 10 episodes are not enough.
On My Lawyer, Mr. Joe Apr 5, 2016
I am watching it episode by episode and I really like the side characters, they're very interesting and they add a fresh air to every scene they are on, Kim Dong Jun, Park Sol Mi, Park Won Sang and the rest of the loan shark Gang, they're my favourite element in this drama.

So far sooo Good, I like the cinematography, the soundtrack and the slow pace of this drama. the cast are doing an excellent Job especially Oh Jung Se and Lee Joon.

Excited about "Museum" because I watch everything Oguri Shun, "The Town Where Only I Am Missing" because it's quite interesting concept and the female lead is a good actress, and "Hero Mania" cause it seems there will be alot of silly and stupid things in there.

The Heirs was special in the fact that the supporting cast were written very very well, cast well chosen and acted brilliantly especially Hyungsik, Crystal and Kang Hanuel. every appearance by them was entertaining, strong impression and memorable.
The story is average and the plot is average, but I have to say that the three Leads "characters and habits" were written very very well, they were all stubborn with strong determination (Park Shin Hye wasn't the typical pathetic poor pretty girl you always see, she stood out for herself and didn't need much help from anyone), none of them was weak cry your eyes out type.
also Kim Tan's family especially the mother and her mute Ajumma were brilliant.
The Heir gets a 10/10 for it's brilliant character all around, and that what made it special for me, raised it's value and made it super entertaining.
The interrelations and interactions between the characters were great as well.
