Starts fun but goes down the boring predictable path, Shin min ah wears gorgeous outfits without a distinctive style, and the supporting characters (people of the neighbourhood) are way more charming and fun to watch than the leads.
On Ex-Enthusiasts: MotoKare Mania Oct 15, 2020
Fun, stylish, light-hearted, well-acted with great dialogues between the 4 female leads.
This Drama starts with Yurkia and Makoto, but then you find yourselves following 3 love lines of different couples who can't get over each other, and also you have the marvellous supporting cast who add some humanity and realism to every situation, I especially loved Turika's best friend Haromi.
The best thing about this drama is that there is no Bad or mean character, everyone is very humane and you end up liking them, or at least accepting them all for who they are.
Recommended fr light-hearted, yet touching and relatable drama

What was the Japanese one called?
''Walking Under a Midnight Sun" but I warn you, it's the most twisted Asian Drama I've seen since 15 years already!
On Come and Hug Me Aug 8, 2019
I watched the original Japanese Drama long time ago and it is still haunting me till today, therefore, I will NOT watch this one, it was way too difficult to watch as it is, I don't want to go through that complex and twisted dark situations again.

I am at episode 11 and Really love it, it's so deep and touching even though nothing much is actually going on.

I should refrain from commenting but seriously, how typical of a korean drama to have the main girl be an idiot…
She is not weak or idiot though, she is so good at her profession but her superstitions are what's holding her back. I found that unique and refreshing. Besides, she is strong, determined and actually very bright.

I want to add few reasons because I am an avid fan of both, and started with Japanese Dramas:
- it's difficult to relate to Japanese daily life and culture, most people are from cultures who talk a lot, have a long conversations, more expressive emotionally and verbally, but the script in J Drama's is limited and they barely have a proper long conversations, characters are usually swept by misunderstandings and lack of communication (this isn't the case in J Anime, which is why it might put people off, in Anime they have proper conversations and they express their emotions, but when the anime is adapted to cinema or tv, it becomes frustrating to watch).
- part of our admiration to Drama's and TV shows is the styling, outfits and hairstyles, no one can top Korean people in that, Japanese are way out dated and they have special taste that don't appeal to international viewers, how come girls always have the same hairstyles since I don't know when? even when they go back in time in the drama, the girl still has the same hairstyle .. why so lazy, they can put extra effort in that!
- the Sound track, No one tops the Korean Sound track, in Japan they have 2 or 3 songs and that's it, they're usually fantastic songs, but you get sick of them by the end of the drama.
- In Romance, Girls are usually the ones who make a move and approach the guy. which isn't really romantic if the viewer is a girl.
However, I really like that their dramas are shorter in episode length and count. this is a Bonus for me not a Minus.

what a wonderful show! the episode is so much fun and easy going that it feels like 30 minutes long only, the lead actor is Superb and his character is written perfectly, I am a fan now and will surely follow everything he does. it's crazy when you think that he just debuted! he has an attractive mysterious area similar to Kim Woo Bin, both proved to be standout actors in a short period of time.
Hwang Jung Eum never disappoints.
though the story is a "story line holes" magnet, but good on the writers, there isn't actually any holes in it up until episode 06.
can't wait for the rest, this drama is becoming one of my all time favourite, JUST WOW.

There MUST be a season 2, 1 episode might wrap up San's story but not Han Gyeo Wool or Yoona. Please let there be season 2

He is in a Chinese music survival program, like "I am a singer" or something like that, I guess that's why he dropped out of the Drama. I love him but this is wrong, he is a really good actor and this was a golden chance for a bigger rules.
