I was surprised to see my fav school dramas here, and then I saw that the author was BrightestStar and it made sense. Great article Star! I also didn't know that Akumu-chan had a movie. Someone needs to sub it fast!

I've seen that people are commenting about other school dramas, but this article is really more specifically about Teacher dramas. As far as Teacher dramas go, these are my favorite. Although I guess I would replace Dragon Zakura with The Queen's Classroom, but that's partly because I haven't seen Dragon Zakura.

When Sakuto becomes intelligent he ends up despising his old mentally challenged self, but in episode 9 he finally sees the good in his old mentally challenged self. It was a very touching moment, when Sakuto accepted himself like others already had.

I'm a native english speaker too. I should have checked for myself. It's all good now though, because the subber finally released the subs for the last 2 eps. About the drama though, I think you might find it different than Charly. There's a lot of people in Algernon that like Sakuto just the way he is and don't want him to change.
