If I were completely honest I'd have to say that I was a little disappointed in the end, but not entirely. I feel like Suga-chan has a much better self awareness than she did in the beginning and can finally be honest with herself and not so holed up, and I feel like Narumi was really touched by what she said in the end, especially about how she's not going to chase him. So we can forsee something in their future, but it would be nice to have a special. Maybe where they solve the mom thing and end up together in the end. That would be nice, although it's not a primetime drama so I doubt it will get a special.

Yes Takako is right. The just kidding referred to the line she said right before, "This is the beginning of your redemption." just kidding. She wasn't interested in him being redeemed. She wanted revenge and she was glad she got it.

He went to "2046," which I interpet as a life of meaningless romance/sex/relationships, trying to recapture the love that he lost, but eventually he realized that the "androids" couldn't give him what he was seeking.
