As much as i like this drama , i stopped watching since knowing there will be a season 2 that kind of gave away…
It's great but the fact that there's going to be season 2 upsets me as well. First of all, it means that it won't be finished in season 1, and then we will have to wait for s2. Also, it progresses pretty fast, I don't understand why season 2 would be needed.

I totally agree with you. I love this drama, it's fun to watch and I can't wait for the next episode but the rating is unreasonably high. I believe it's going to be lowered when the drama would finish airing because most people refrain from rating until they finish.

Neither. Chu Wanning is evil in Mo Ran's POV at the beginning of the novel but in actuality, he is the goodest person - even though he has a temper he is kind and selfless. Mo Ran seems evil because of what he did in his past life but there's a reason why he became the cruel empror. He is not evil either.

In the first version of the episode, the Princess complained about the weather in Xiang Xiong and how in this rate she is going to get tanned. Then they showed her maid as a black woman to indicate that the maid's skin already got so dark. After numerous complaints about how this scene was offensive, they taken down the episode and reuploaded it without this scene but the black maid in the background remained, now without context.
