Yes for Milky-up. I think Stray kids would have been bad for Soomins voice and stray kids songs aren't really vocal songs. Edit: I think maybe a blue song could work.

I think the problem is the low rating. They save idols to not drop further in rating. If you look at phantom Singer, it is the same concept but it works better. Because the viewers aren't only idol fans. I would have save Kim Seongjeong from the 2vs2 and Neon from the 3vs3. And if they would have pick the groups like pantom singer does, the groups would have been better i think.

Milky-up came first, because of Soomins and Seohyung (deep) voice. Also they are the only one with only one contestants with idol experiance. You feel the crossover in their performence. And because they know what the live viewers want to see. (My opinion.)

You understand me wrong. In the final of every Phantom singer we have 3 groups out of the contestens. The groups are set in the finals and all have a group name. And to this day from 1-4 every group in the finals is active. Not much, but they have music and fan meetings. Boys Planet is a total different situation. The agencies pick the contestens out of the show if they like them. So only the top get an offer. For build up the group is ready have a name and only need a agency to get the music out. And the 1/4 that are in groups some of ther groups are 7 years in the music industry so the member aren't really know what to come. Let's take Pentagon as exemple: Hui was in boys planet. Jinho was in phantom singers 4 and his group CREZL got 3 place. They are under CHXXTA Company. Yeo one is now in build up.
So it is like other groups do it. The main groups stays but they challange themself. Some go solo other make new experiences.
