I'm not saying they can't date. By law they can. What I am saying is that as an audlt of 35 years old, I find it distasteful that a man in his thirties dated a young adult woman of 19 who was barely legal. I would also feel that way if the genders were reversed and it was a thirty year old woman dating a 19 years old man. There is too much difference in their experience of the world and it feels predatory and manipulative to me to date someone that much younger when they are at that age. If it had been twenty years on and KSH was 50 and KSR was 30 I would have no problem with them dating as KSR has had a chance to be out in the world dating people her own age, having those expriences so she would have confidence and defences in place. At the time they dated he was a grown man of 30 years old. Its just distasteful to me and it feels like, if there is smoke then there is fire, cause ususally with those types of men, 15 is not that much different from 19. I feel that what he did was morally wrong if not legally wrong and the fact that his fans are now trying to whitewash his questionable behaviour and paint him as a saint is, quite frankly, horrendous. But hey, maybe he will make a comeback but one thing is for certain and this was all I was trying to say before his fanbase tried to gaslight me is that I will not be watching anymore of his dramas. He has forever tainted my perception of him now and I cant see him without thinking 'ewww'. That's just how I feel and I am not going to apologise for it.

And I suppose you do? You know Kim Soo Hyun personally and know all the inside information do you? You were there when he was dating Kim Sae Ron, were you? You were there when they split and have access to all their personal correspondance do you? You are the one creating false narratives for yourself based on what you want to know and what you want to be true, not me. I took information Kim Soo Hyun himself admitted to and based an opnion off of it based on my own morals. I don't mind someone having a difference of opinion but I am not going to be gaslit to think he his a freaking angel and has been targeted and has done nothing wrong when he has admitted to wrong doing.

Deflecting again. Kim Soo Hyun admitted to dating Kim Sae Ron multiple times with his own mouth. This alone has forever changed my perception of him. I'm not spreading false information. I am basing my opinion of him from facts that he admitted. People who keep defending his questionable behaviour are the ones responsible for it in the future. Just because he's pretty and talented, doesn't mean he can't be a bad or questionable either. I have my eyes wide open unlike yours.

what unrealistic fake scenario are you taking about? that he knew her when she was a child? there are photos of them taken by third parties of her meeting him when she was prepubescent. Who chased who or whether he waited has no bearing of the facts that we know. He dated her when she was nineteen and he was thirty one- FACT. He admitted to it. That's what makes me feel queezy. I know its difficult for 'fans' cause the person they have built up in their mind is not the person he is but no need to come for people who have voiced an opinion based on facts. And honestly you are doing him no favours cause it just makes me dislike him even more now on principle.

I have to admit Liu Yuning has become my guilty pleasure chinese actor. I never thought I would like him, his visuals just don't interest me, but I have loved everything I have watched him in and loved his characters in particular. Honestly Prisoner of Beaury last year took my 'came out of nowhere ' award. I have rewatched it multiple times and when I cant even keep up with dramas in general, a rewatch speaks to how much I loved it.

Oh gosh, I can't wait to see how all the delulu Wang Hedi and Shen Yue shippers are gonna react to this, they already think they are secretly married!! lolol

I have always erred on the side of caution with these things and whether or not the police are corrupt or people were paid is not for me to decide. For me, the fact remains that he knew her as a little kid and then dated her when she was barely legal and when he was in his Thirties. Did he do anything wrong, in the eyes of the law? No. Morally I would say yes, at least to my morals. I can't say I was his biggest fan, although I did enjoy the dramas I watched with him, but I cannot see him the same way I used to. I will never be able to see him onscreen now and not think, 'ewwwwww'. He just gives me the squick now.

I want to see Hyeon Jun get his come-uppence so bad though. I hate him so much! I'm enjoying it, it doesn't bother me that the wins are more ephemeral than straight up 'we made cash!!' Tae-poong is coming into his own...

I have held off on Buried Hearts mainly cause I just wanted to binge it and not watch it week to week but I have seen a few comments like this about it….now I’m wondering if it’s worth the watch.

Honestly Historical C Dramas are S-tier. You are doing yourself a disservice not watching any. I usually watch modern Kdramas and Historical C dramas. Never watch historical K dramas

His mole on his forehead is visible in the smooch photo he claims was from 2019. He got that removed when he came back from Military service seemingly so those photos were from before 2017.

Once he can't make money for people anymore, they will drop him and he will get his karma. I'm not a fan of his per se so I don't have any real vested interest in this, but honestly, as a woman, I cannot watch anything with him again and I am annoyed as I loved Queen of Tears and now I will never be able to rewatch that.
