The last two dramas by this author ended up on Netflix, so I’m hoping “When I Meet the Moon” will too. I already requested it — along with “Dancing With the Tide” — on Netflix’s request page.
I tried iQiyi for a month for LBL, but the lag was so bad I canceled right after. Netflix and Viki never lag on me, so it was frustrating that some shows are stuck on iQiyi.
Hopefully Netflix picks up both and helps LYX reach more global viewers.
okay im on episode 11 and the amount of "accidental meeting" is getting ridiculous, for example you telling…
Pei Zen definitely didn't show up by coincidence—he literally told his assistant he was "playing a long line to catch a big fish," meaning he was spying on the ML and the girl he liked. This was my first modern C-drama, and I really enjoyed it. Shout-out to MDL, because I wouldn't have found it without browsing here.
I’m familiar with Lu Yu Xiao’s work in MJTY and LITC, and she delivered again here. Her portrayal of Hu Xiu was the standout for me—quirky, smart, loyal, and carrying a warm, grounded maturity. Her approach to romance was refreshing, too: no games or mixed signals. She was direct about her feelings, whether with the ML or with Pei Zen. As for the rating, I think we just see it differently. According to her Wikipedia, Hu Xiu’s iQIYI character popularity passed 100 million while the show was airing. Love Between Lines also won four SMG Quality Awards, including LYX’s first true industry-level award, which carries far more weight than her 2023–2025 Weibo Night awards. With scores like 9.7 on Viki (~35k ratings) and 9.8 on iQIYI Global, the show is a hit with both domestic and international audiences, as well as critics. Honestly, MDL is the one underrating it.
