Anything above 7 in douban is actually good...above 8 is very good and above 9 is excellent Like you I can't bear to see the rating of the untamed (I'm yet to watch minglan and joy of life) all, untamed, JOL and minglan used to have above 8 and above ratings but then dropped as more and more viewers watched them (but still above 7 is not a low rating in douban....when you compare it with other popular dramas like eternal love (6.5) long ballad (5 or 4 something) falling into your smile (3.2 or something) who rules the world (5.8)

true! But I don't know about weibo, I just follow douban because their rating is accurate (at least I found them so)....there they don't judge by popularity of actor or actress...many dramas of famous celebrities are rated very low there (and I actually found it to be a bit true)

As someone who was very disappointed after watching cdramas when I started, I've realized that you shouldn't follow mdl ratings (for cdramas) everyone has different preferences but some highly rated dramas may turn to disappoint you ...not all) I suggest you follow douban ratings for watching cdramas cus it's more accurate and the dramas there are judged directly by the chinese people
Not to jinx it or anything....but why do I feel like this will never be confirmed? The anime got cancelled, the manhua got cancelled....idk what grudges do they have with our Shizun and Bing-mei
