haha IKR!! you'd be even more surprised to know the ratings of other dramas...but douban is like the most popular site in China for ratings dramas, foreign series, books, movies, animes etc.....the amount of viewers who rate there is much more than MDL...and from what I've heard they are very critical in rating when it comes to dramas and trust me...if anything is above 7 then it's really a good one according to their standards....I for one agree with douban ratings more than MDL ratings
and also, one of the reasons why TMOPB has a low rating in Douban is because the og story is plagiarized from some other BL novel

I've not seen love and redemption yet but I liked this one better than TMOPB and ashes of love....I'll tell you what are the ratings in China (Douban) for xianxia dramas for last ten yrs-
