Same!!! I've watched only korean version too....but Chinese was the original story and some say that it's better so you can watch it too....also try "Empress Ki" and "Red cuff of sleeve" for angst in historical setting
For you, which one is better? I've put Nirvana in Fire in my plan to watch list for a long time.
My personal fav is Mr Sunshine ofc but NIF is great too....it's just that it's very political and some people complain that they didn't find romance and more about other characters in it...let me tell you...if you like smart political ploys, various factions having a political war for throne then you'll love it....But I think despite everything, you should at least give it a try
This was not on my list to watch but I watched it anyway cus it has a very good rating in Douban...even much more than TMOPB, ashes of love, love between fairy and devil, love and redemption, etc.... And I'd like to say I totally agree with Douban's ratings in this cus I did find this much better than all the xianxian's mentioned...For me, this is the best xianxia till now...and I think one of the reasons why this has a low rating here is cus people can't just accept the looks of Jiu Chen as ML when he actually fits the role of a warrior and doesn't look like some god of beauty like other dramas
Théo what’s the point of watching something if you skip ?
I've tried dropping ff and I felt it was slow, it felt like I was watching the same thing in slow motion and so I went back to my usual speed which now feels normal to me so unless the drama is eng dubbed or dubbed in the language I speak (and thanks to Netflix my top three fav dramas are dubbed in my language) I prefer ff cus it saves my time and also I never felt like I'm missing anything also 1.5x speed is for the dramas that I find to my liking otherwise I usually finish dramas in 2x speed when I don't find them much exciting but at the same time don't feel like dropping them. And I'm not alone cus almost 80% of the dramas are not that good and many viewers do it like that
