He is my favourite no.1 singer and actor (2nd and 3rd are Katori Shingo and Ikuta Toma). Have been a fan of his for a long time first because of SMAP and later also as an actor. He first blew my mind in One Million Stars. Heck he was brilliant and just .. WOAH in it.
He is the reason I learnt Japanese to create subs of his older stuff like the SMAP movies and doramas.

Kenta and Toma make a believable couple and I love the very Japanese feel to the movie. Those slow shots, the development of character, the background stories and those beautiful silences. A wonderful movie about love in all its forms, sexual, platonic, motherly, fatherly, family. And damn Ikuta Toma is a believable Rinko-chan.

I first saw him in Temptation of Wolves and couldn't believe he was the same guy who played in 1% of Anything. But ToW definitely made me fall in love with him. I loved the character, the story line and he was amazing, albeit slightly crazy. And Duelist .... Sad Eyes will be forever my drama oppa (together with LMH's Choi Young from Faith)
His newest movie, Boy Found is also another typical KDW movie and he is amazing in it.

"In fact, the dramas we watch can even influence the things we eat." This is so true XD I tried all…
I always buy hand-made kimchi at Dae Yang supermarket (they have the industrially made versions as well as their own). All attempts to make kimchi myself just didn't ... umm .. work :) Either the taste or the consistency was wrong or the thing exploded. Have bought an old Sauerkraut Topf now, perhaps that will work better :)

For me the coolest kdrama hero is Choi Young - being such a legendary and feared killing machine with a suicidal streak, he still has heart and soul left to fall deeply in love, even if it kills him (literally).
Also, Eun-Oh from Arang & The Magistrate. Due to his family background he starts out to be a wounded soul that outwardly is stand-offish and snobbish who through love, affection and dedication turns into a better man who is inwardly healed while he exposes himself more and more to the outside world.
