If it was made as a 90's era drama it might have more sense. Now anyone would google the brand name and find out about it. Anyway it has really good acting and bgm.
The series with most dumbest FL.......many might have liked her.....and I have nt read the actual novel, but here…
Ppl will call you hater and antifan...blah blah blah. But tbh her acting skills are so weak in the most annoying way possible, so it's normal for him to overshadow her. Frankly, He always overshadow his Co-stars.
production quality or great and so is the casting, excluding the FL 😏! Sorry, but she is not cut for this type of roles, and her acting was the weakest among them all. Other than that, the last 3 episodes were not necessary at all, It could've ended at ep 33 nicely. And less speeches would've been nice too. Still, it's a very good watch, and Ryan Cheng is a very good actor to watch. 8/10
Overdose of speeches! It's like 4-5 speeches per episode! I like the concept, and casting was pretty good, especially Ryan Cheng, but it could've easily cut to 30 episodes if the speeches were cut short.
It's a good remake, but a bit long with a little emotional blackmail comparing to the original. Both are tear jerkers, but this one has more fancy visuals, while the original left me with a shade of a smile among the tears.
The son chose the beauty of the myth his father had crafted, turning a blind eye to the ugliness of his soul and the crimes he had committed. Later, when he saw his mother's photo, he knew he was a carbon copy of her—the woman who was labeled 'ugly' despite the beauty of her soul that no one ever saw. In the end, the son lived with his mother's face, but his father's soul. He is the real ugly one here. 🫤
Why was he laughing at the end? His perception was defined by all of the things he heard?
He was the male copy of his mother, yet he chose to protect his dad and the social standards that striped his mother from her humanity, dignity and life, so he is a real ethical copy of his morally ugly father, not his beautiful soul mother. He wasn't laughing or crying, he was in-between, shattered by what he has just done to protect an "authentic Korean legend that creates beauty" in the fake society he lives in, yet covering crimes just to keep that image and reputation of his fake dad alive. English is not my 1st language, so i don't know if i explained it correctly.
So, they met 2007 and they were 22-24 year old, and they later met in 2018, they are supposed to be 33-35! Why does he have all that grey hair and act as a 50 year-old man?
Too many changes from the manhwa, i like the ML, but Fl is poorly written and OYS doen't do her any good (sorry her fans). I'll keep watching hoping it gets better next episodes.
In my opinion the buyers father is one of them. Because he asked why he want to buy everything and the father…
I thought the same, but in that case, it means that they can mate with normal humans and have a new mixed generation, though more human and less "them"
Can anyone explain the last scene, the one about the guy who is buying the main piece of art? Is he another one of "them"? If so, is the guy in white, who seemed ignorant btw, also one of them?
Anyway it has really good acting and bgm.
