Guys, you really need to stop with this "brain transplant" bullshit. This is not a sci/fi drama. No one's going to pull out a lightsaber up in their ass nor the Tripods will invade the earth like in the H. G. Wells' novel. You have to be a blind or had an extremely, lamentably serious "brain surgery" to not to see Sung Yo Han's healthy, unscathed head after the incident. So many brain transplant theories... It's not even funny :/
On the one hand we have a genius, marvellous, first-class actor; Cho Seung woo. On the other hand we have terribly talentless Park Shin Ye. Juuuust perfect!
You didn't watch the most ingenious Korean historical drama, (second only to Nirvana in Fire in global arena)…
You are absolutely right about everything you say. I can concur it without a doubt. The dynamism aspect in SFD is just godlike. 50 hours without a single boredom is pretty much an impossible task to accomplish yet still, they fuckin' did it. However, every rose has its thorn: Shin Se Kyung. She is like a joke, with a baaaad punch line. Ugh what a terrible actress. She didn't deserve to be in part of this magnificent cast.

So what? Are you denying the fact that people kill each other in every day, every hour, every minute and even every second? This is a historical drama you know it don't you? King Taejong was probably the most ruthless and cunning monarch in Korean history. So you criticize the drama for they are doing their job accurately, yeah? He is the son of an accomplished general, not some weak ass meek. His entire family must kill someone; not for a brainless fun, because their job tell them to do so. If they acted like some loser wussy, which you wish them to be, the enemy would have murder everybody and take their homeland out of their hands. Only a weakling can antagonise these natural behaviors.

It's not surprising that you get bored while watching these shitty historical dramas. I will prescribe you just one and only medicine; Six Flying Dragons, which the screenwriter duo in Asadal wrote.
Soooooooo, do I need to watch te first one in order to understand the important stuff?
No, not necessarily but I certainly advise you to watch the first season. It's undoubtedly a masterpiece and as well as a cornerstone of the television medium.

It's really irritating me that a genius actor like Cho Seung Woo is co-starring with a subpar actress.

We're looking at a masterpiece in here!
