The way both leads escaped was a bit unreasonable.. but since i want jiusi to be alive so itβs okay if it doesnβt…
That's still okay, but if there's an escape scene with the main character falling into the abyss while still alive, That's even more absurd. This usually happens in Chinese colossal dramas; if the main cast falls off a high cliff, they don't die, but the supporting cast members who fall off definitely do. Fortunately, in this series, that didn't happen during the escape scene. ππ
Jiu Si is very intelligent but just lazy π, he seems to be good at reading situations and planning strategies. I really like Gu Jiu Si's chemistry with Liu Yu Ru; I see it as like General Bu Yi's chemistry with Niao Niao π. It's not a bad bet for Liu Yu Ru; she is lucky to have a good husband and in-laws.
Oh, there's already a release date. Sorry, I just found out. I just saw on WeTV that there is already a release date. In my previous comment, I really don't know ππ
I think YOUKU did well with Costume dramas compared to Iqiyi and Tencent... BFTB, Starry Love and TTEOM..But IQIYI…
I think we have different tastes about Chinese costume series. You seem to like XianXia-themed series, and if I don't really like XianXia-themed series on Youku, I follow TBOY. But this is just my opinion. IQIYI is still superior to Youku this year (until now), and there are many quality Chinese costume series, for example, UL, POA, WOACN, UTM, and TIO. Maybe you are right that the series on IQIYI with the XianXia theme is inferior to Youku.
This year's IQIYI was outstanding in presenting the Chinese Costume Series. We TV this year, in my opinion (until now), lost to IQIYI in presenting the Chinese Costume Series.
The chemistry of Bai Jing Ting with Song Yi is sweet, strong, and well matched, just like the chemistry of Leo Wu with Zhao Lu Si, or the same with Dylan Wang with Yukee Chen, or the same with Chen Xiao with Crystal Liu. They are a couple that I think has a sweet and strong chemistry that can make the series viewers feel into it. π₯°
Aside from the different bridal outfits, which usually use red, this series uses green. Another unusual thing is the pillows, which are usually hard and thick π. In this series, the pillows look soft, like modern pillows. Although this is not the first Chinese costume series to use soft pillows, every Chinese colossal series has always used hard pillows, starting with Andy Lau playing Yang Guo and the BoboHo movie era. I wonder if the ancient Chinese used hard pillows. Are there any historical transcripts that show the ancient Chinese empire using hard pillows, whether in the form of paintings or other historical transcripts?π
Finally, after The Ingenious One, I've been waiting about a month for a Chinese series that isn't Xianxia-themed. From the first six episodes, it's quite interesting, and a lot of the cast in The Blood of Youth, especially the supporting cast, It's not a wuxia series, but I hope there are some martial arts fight scenes, albeit few but still epic. And one more thing: Liu Xue Yi is really good at playing villains ππ
What I'm most afraid of is that when it ends in episode 36, the story is not finished; continue to the season…
PA is also the same hanger for furious viewers; they follow Game of Throne, whose ML dies impaled on the sword , but the Hoolywood series, even though the number of episodes is small each season. But every year, there is a new season π
What I'm most afraid of is that when it ends in episode 36, the story is not finished; continue to the season…
I think it's finished, but it's definitely not finished like JOL or PA, where the main character is suddenly injured (stabbed by a sword) and the story still doesn't know whether he dies or not. Well, there must be a season 2 π
