So Vegas and Pete don’t have a happy ending in the novel right ?
I didn't finish the novel but I read several Times that they actually do have a happy ending and that Vegas did everything to get Pete back, being forgiven by him But I'm not 100% sure
This makes a lot of sense. I'm like you and don't want to believe the Dan's the traitor. Like you responded to…
Yes it could be that too but why would they be there in the middle of the rod while they are driving a truck full of drug... And still wondering who's spying Dan's car in the preview though...
What if ???? Someone reminded me and I went back to episode 10 part 4 and remember when Dan said "I know someone whom we can rely on" "No hush money can make this case disappear." So that's the theory: It's obvious since episode 1 that Dan wants to fight against the society but he's a cop so he can't do it openly by manifesting or anything so he does it with his art.
In the preview we see him in his car with a man and the photos he's showing him could actually be the photos Sean and White took of the drugs earlier(And I think they gave those photos willingly to Dan ) and the person with Dan could be "the person we can rely on". I mean some other cops ( not necessarily a cop but an other important person ) must be against Tawi and this one person with Dan might be. When in the preview the man said "but Tawi has everything under control" and Dan says "There are more people against him know", he talks about the gang and I think that this guy and Dan are actually helping the gang to make sure to out Tawi's business. And I think that Dan and the other guy were actually waiting for a real opportunity, real evidences to make sure Tawi gets down without possible escape thanks to "dirty cops or well placed politicians" and the gang, the informations Dan has are allowing us to do so with solid evidences that are undeniable. I think the gang is for Dan and some other cops a way to fight against society without blowing their "cop cover" To me, it would be nonsense if Dan is the traitor, I mean you can't just be painting things that criticized society and then betray the gang you share the ideas of especially if you want a redemption after killing someone.
Maybe in the beginning the gang (except Yok maybe) will think that he's the one responsible, it would be logical actually... but maybe the traitor is closer to them than they think..
Theory N° 1 : Gumpa, I mean we clearly know nothing about him, since the beginning e's acting in the shadows, training the gang without taking any part... But I definitely don't know what could be his reasons to do that and I quite like the character so I hope not.. I felt he might be working with Todd, so he helps the gang taking Tawi down to serve Todd goal and becoming the one in charge (but in this case I wouldn't find the need for Todd to have White infiltrated in the gang if Todd already worked with him) Theory N°2 : Eugene. She's been Black's girlfriend and she might know a lot of things about the gang. Gram could have told her about the mission Theory N°3: Dan (it's the one I REALLY HOPE IS INNOCENT) because of what we saw in the trailer but actually it's weird to spoil it in the preview so... I think they might be misleading us. And It would be out ouf character regarding how he evolved (show his vulnerability, regrets after killing Sean's dad...) Or he's hell of a good actor since the begining...
But I don't know actually and whoever it's gonna be, I'm gonna need some solid explanations for the reasons he/she had to betray them...
I mean seriously🤣🤣🤣, white put the key in the motercycle back after sean ran away and started running…
LMAO I swear that scene was legendary haha, I love to pick out tiny details like that showing the imperfections of the show, but it's actually part of the charm and it makes us laugh though 😂
But I'm not 100% sure
And I think they put this in the preview on purpose to make us theorize again and agin, question ourselves, they're so good at it 😂

But for my part, I trust DAN 1000%
