This isn't a show that should be overanalyzed. It's a pretty basic rom-com with many cliches so it's best to put your analyst's hat away and just enjoy this for what it is.
With that in mind, I found it enjoyable and easy to watch. Nothing less, nothing more.
If there's one thing that stood out to me, it was how focused the show was on the main couple. They're really was no filler or random secondary love story and that was appreciated by this viewer.
Oh, and the kissing. Jesus...lol...I wish more Korean shows would let their lovers kiss like that. It really helps set the tone. Those really weak pecks (where the lips don't even move!!!) on other shows are sooooo bad.
I hate to say it but I wasn't a fan of that ending. It's one thing to leave it to the viewer's imagination, it's another to be intentionally ambiguous.
A confusing ending that left me unsatisfied.
Overall, show was fine. Typical melodrama but I felt it dragged a bit towards the end.
Loved it. Something that stood out to me what how much sexual tension we saw between the two leads. It's not often that you see such sex appeal from lovers in Asian shows.
So this really was a pleasant surprise. Great chemistry too.
Overall, one of the best romances you'll see from Korea.
OMG, this show is soooooo heartbreaking. Please tell me there will be some happy times ahead!
The two main leads go thru a pretty straightforward journey from strangers to co-workers to finally liking each other.
But there's really no huge romance. It's more of a slow process that ends with a happy ending. I thought it was a breath of fresh air.
And am I supposed to feel sympathy for Hyun Woo? I don't get his character.
I watched the Turkish version recently and I really enjoyed it. I should check this out.
When he took off the ring is when he went back to 1999. I guess he believed that if they put the rings back on, they'd return to the future.
It wasn't needed because it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the rings had a superpower when they took them off.
Great show.
I loved everything about this show. I'm sad that it had to end but I'm happy because I know that one day I will watch it all over again. So good.
