Yes, they are not mentors anymore. Zico had to go into the military a month or so ago, and Rain is currently preparing to debut with a new co-ed group. Zico can't have any other job while in the military and Rain is too busy preparing for the debut to work on the show.

Yeah, I didn't realize all that until the first episode. Most of the articles that I read about the show said Big Hit was just dealing with the music. Once I saw the first episode, I realized the articles and I were wrong.
Even though it is kind of weird that a female is playing the male lead, you should give this drama a try. It is pretty entertaining, and after a while you don't even notice the male lead is not played by a male. At some points she passes for a male really well.

This should be really interesting because it less of a traditional audition program and more of show that focus on watching how a boy group comes together and gets ready to debut. They will have to compete some because 23 boys can't debut in one group, but it shouldn't be like the produce series or mixnine or any other ones like that. Yes, but CJ ENM made another subsidiary company called Belift Labs, it is kind of a joint company with Big Hit since they will control the music side of things, that the boys will debut under.

This drama was cute and fun to watch, but it's also the first time I can honestly say that I don't feel any sort of chemistry between the leads. It feels like they were more playing house than really in love. Aside from that, the three sons are super cute and entertaining, so it is worth it to watch just for them.

I think this person is talking about the face mask scene. In the original the face mask that Wayo wore was white, whereas the face mask in this one is more of a dark grey/blackish color so I don't think it's really blackface. It's more like they are using a charcoal mask or something like that.
