Out of curiosity, are korean dramas that are being liveshot, how are they able to record them during the corona…
No, South Korea is not in lockdown. They got an early jump on testing and contact tracing, and so the only people who are in quarantine there are people who have tested positive or are suspected to have the virus.
I have stuck with this drama through weird acting and terrible subs and Seong Joo's super problematic behavior, and I can't quite figure out why. There's just something weirdly addictive about it. Maybe it's because I still feel so much good will toward Ji Hyun Woo because of Queen In Hyun's Man. Or maybe I'm just enjoying the train wreck. It's not a show I can really recommend, but I'm hooked nonetheless.
If this is airing in September, why did that DramaFever article say it would be available in November? I hope they don't actually intend to make overseas fans wait that long.
Definitely Oh Soo Hyun from Doctor Stranger, Choi Yoo Jin from K2 (maybe she isn't technically SFL but I loved…
Choi Yoo Jin definitely had way more chemistry with Je Ha than Anna did. I wish she had been the romantic lead. That would have taken Je Ha's characterization in a darker direction, of course, but ultimately that would have made him more interesting.

I like that you specifically mentioned Western sci fi writers, because I was also feeling a little uncomfortable with the fact that this Korean take on robot mythos was being viewed from such a strongly Western perspective.
The whole premise of this article bothers me. Asimov's laws of robotics have been hugely influential in the sci fi genre, but that doesn't mean other writers are under any obligation to adhere to them. Nam Shin III has a set of rules to follow, and yes, we know he's not supposed to hurt humans or allow harm to come to them, but we also know that his #1 rule is to hug people when they cry so, I mean, clearly we've left Asimov territory from the very start. It's also clear that Shin III's rules are not foundational to his very being. They can be turned off and on, or they can be changed. In fact, he starts messing with his own rules quite early on in the series (switching disaster mode on when it was supposed to be disabled, for instance). So I think you're misrepresenting the writer's intentions by claiming that they based Shin III's rule set on Asimov's.
I really like Cha Joo Young in Suspicious Partner. She brought such a unique and appealing vibe to what otherwise could have been your standard catty second female lead. Even when she's trying to undermine Ji Wook and Bong Hee's relationship, there's something so pathetic and yet so relatable about her. She drinks too much, she lacks self-awareness, she's terribly lonely, and she can't forgive herself for the mistake she made years ago. By the end of the drama, her happiness was almost as important to me as the main couple's.
Also worth mentioning: both supporting female characters in Because This Is My First Life were fantastic.
