Title Heartbeat
I'm infinitely thankful to have such a practical FL to balance the silliness/comedy. Her story was heartbreaking. Now I'd love for the ML to show off his business savvy. He was rich for a reason, right? Will we have another hospitality-themed show?

Ok, I like this drama way more than expected, the "relapse" I hoped they would not write in was indeed there,…
I get the sense Soo Hyuk was a helper to his ex, too (as opposed to a boyfriend). The type to dive in to help when needed and then leave like he did at the end of the breakup. He gave her medicine for her fever.

I hope Bora's friend gets a divorce with her husband. He talks trash with his friend about women and marriage.…
I was surprised and disappointed that the series didn't return to repairing their relationship or addressing their conflict. She was understandably hurt after what she overheard him say. That man is not husband material. A possible bromance/mentorship with Jin Ho seems more in line with his current emotional abilities. I hope the show continues being instructive about love and romance by sending the couple to therapy or ending it in divorce. Their relationship is awful.

I thought it's a typical romcom with simple-minded characters. But 6 eps into it and I found FL very relatable.…
He reminds me of reluctant heroes. When someone is in need his empathy kicks in and he'll rise to the occasion. But when things are going well, he's a decent though sometimes blunt acquaintance, not the sweet, attentive boyfriend type. He was the same with his ex during the break up. His only response was to place his hand on her forehead and rush to buy her medicine.

Sadly, I couldn't find it in my browser history, but it was before Love Between Fairy & Devil.

Thank you for this article.I just love this cdrama. I started watching it more by an accident, after I was disappointed…
The side characters were also interesting. Rong Hao was ruthless and a good friend. Dan Yin acted on her jealousy and held herself accountable publicly.

It's interesting that he said he prefers older women, mentioning a Chinese proverb that goes something along the lines of, "Having a wife 3 years older is having 3 gold bars."

Can't wait for the original Mudeok (Buyeon) to return! I wanna see how the plot would unfold if that would happen.
Yes! But also concerned about what it means for her because as a secondary character, she'll likely get the raw end of the deal. Maybe she can transfer to a body that can see, but she's probably keeping Naksu from petrification.

I know where you're coming from, especially since training scenes are a particular favorite for me. Badassery development is the best kind of fun. Frankly, so much more of his success is due to luck than her training that we're forced to focus on the magic of his star chart. Fate is a big part of the lore and we're here to watch it unfold. Training is a carrier for the relational lessons, not the action plot as much so far. Currently, it's about how having someone persistently believing in you (no matter their reasons) will have a profound emotional effect after a long history of neglect. These psychological nuances are likely to keep coming up as it does in other dramas by these writers. If that's not what you're looking for, I agree that you'll probably be disappointed.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm suggesting she's either not very bright or quite inexperienced with how the world works, which don't excuse revealing such personal matters about anyone else (nor, obviously, of herself; a worldly person would have predicted the death threats she's getting). Her foolishness detracts from her character and the credibility of her story.

Honestly, the picture she painted of herself in her story did lead me to believe she's naive enough to believe hiding his name in Mr. K would work.

i think the major problem lies with the unrealistic and out of the world image of idols we think is important.…
It's ridiculous that the industry, contracts and the S. Korean culture all contributed to make him paranoid about texting her and taking pictures. She couldn't call him more than once a month. These rules would doom most relationships, with or without the abortion dispute.

Why can't we ever learn from these scandals and ban paparazzi? His paranoid behavior was tragic and disturbing. Let's allow people to fall in or out of love, take pictures, and decide whether or not to have a child without the news of it being a breach of contract. $795,000?! Whether or not it's true, these contracts that restrain entertainers from satisfying human needs and having a fulfilling life must be made illegal.

This is not to condone his behavior. He is old enough to know he was unjustifiably coercive about the abortion. It's her body and her choice. But she would be similarly coercive to demand marriage against his will, promise or no. His behavior made it crystal clear he was falling out of love and I felt sympathy for her that she didn't recognize the signs and left. There were so many.

The best outcome would be that they grow from the incident, but the chances are low. He's experiencing trauma now that his greatest fears have come true. So two traumatized people need healing and transformation in a country where going to therapy is taboo. She obviously doesn't have a good support system (good friends), given her behavior in the relationship and latest response. Let's hope at least he has some miraculously stellar buddies to help him mature and come to deeply apologize privately to help her on her healing journey. She needed that desperately a very long time ago.

The last episode of Todome No Parallel shows the ending of those credit scenes in a full episode.
