is that a remake of Protect the Boss ? beacause the plot... is... like.... the same ?
ok I'll start watching it but saying its NOTHING alike is a bit extreme, there are some similarities in the plot, i guess the story is very different afterwards but still you guys : a spoiled CEO protected by a stong bodyguard woman you can't objectively say "it's NOTHING like it". Agree that when you read the plot you're like "hmm ok sounds familiar". anywaysssss
Just to comment on some of the complaints here, without the so-called overacting, there would be no humor or style…
I agree, plus Japanese sense of humor is really absurd and linked strongly to japanese's cultural jokes, that are hard to get if you lack of Japanese's culture. so it's easier to get korean sense of humor for example, that is more situational. I'm a huge fan of Sakai Masato tho. he's always gold
appart from Kaito Tantei Yamaneko I feel like the other dramas don't really deserve this prize. Nobody watch other Js-drama than lowkey teenage-shoujo love stories ?
Started the drama, dropped at ep 2 because of the etarnal xenophonia in K-drama. If there's a rule we can…
Haha…What ?! And you think it’s a good reason ? Sometimes I think everythink is normal for you guys as long as there's a Korean Idol involved.
I promise you a drama staring Lee Min Ho is'nt targeting a "small audience".
As you know K-culture is getting global and it's been a while they know we, from all arround the world watch their dramas, and they want to sell it to us, so why don't they respect the rest of the world a little bit ? Otherwise they shouldn't do conventions, and stuffs.
So please stop closing your eyes on this matter with this kind of explainations, it's not because hollywood were dumb on cliches that they have to do it as well.
They should'nt nourish the fear of the "other" that already exists in Korea.
It's the role of cultural leaders to change mentalities in the good sense. And this drama is'nt the only one in which every single foreigner is an ass* (from the policeman, to the seller, to the ladies from the big mall, to the ice-cream seller, etc etc not only the "bad guys") yes at the end I found it offensive. And the number of drama in which the only image of the foreigner you can find is the image of the prostitute or the bad guy is so huge.
Please don't act as if it was normal, or not a problem it's just sad. It's RACISM. It's ALWAYS a problem you shoul'nt "let it be ».
