Strong Start To Half Baked

Let me start by saying Boss and Noeul were incredible in this series with what they were given. They have amazing chemistry and that remained clear and strong throughout for me, but unfortunately they were served a half-baked script and what felt like a lackluster plot to me.

The show’s premise felt so interesting and had so much potential. The storyline really felt like it was building up to greatness and then fizzled out, remained confusing throughout, and overall ended feeling incomplete to me.

There ultimately was wasted potential in this series which makes me so sad to say because Boss and Noeul are amazing actors and deserve to play in strong roles/series. I really hope there’s more resolve in the special episode 😔🙏

I Feel Bamboozled

What actually was that episode!? BOLD choices were made for that special episode and none of them were good. Why would they include an entire new plot and death scene of a main character in a special episode?? It was a bold and wrong move, I feel. That rocked me and I was in shock the rest of the episode just waiting for it to resolve but it just...never did. I am all for a bold plotline but it should feel purposeful and earned. This felt like it was thrown in after a perfectly good ending of the series. We gained nothing from this plotline and I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry the entire episode so I just nervously chuckled throughout and scoffed in frustration after finishing it. All in all I really hope we get a second season or another special episode otherwise it feels like everything Jack and Joke had accomplished and fought for up until that point was for nothing. I will just continue on with my business like I hadn't watched that.

Imperfect To Others But My Roman Empire

This series is perfect to me. I have no notes 😌I’m sure if I dissected it I could find flaws but I won’t. This series feels like a warm hug and it will definitely be a comfort re-watch. I’m so happy William, Est, and the other LYKN members found each other and I can’t wait to see what they all accomplish next ❤️

They all did an amazing job within their roles, the music we got was top shelf, the filming and set locations were beautiful and the storyline was strong and executed well. I was hooked in episode 1 and remained that way all throughout the end. William and Est are perfectly paired together. Their chemistry is incredible and my favorite part of this series was their tenderness and vulnerability with each other. Hong, Nut, Lego and Tui also played their roles so well!

Reallyyy hoping we get another series in the near future from Williamest and the other LYKN members 👀
