And it was her followers that told him and he never figured it out, because he was kind of a dunce and assumed that "Han men are just weak and fragile and 'pretty'" She had gone missing and they were looking for her. He flashes back to every time he called her "girly" and feels extremely stupid, and feels bad for making her do certain things. Now that he knows in the drama so early on, his comments about "a guy who is so girly" don't hit as hard :')
I was alright with some of the changes (even Sun suddenly being comfortable in a Tang city hhh) but I’m not fond of how he finds out LCG is a woman, the original was far better.
