On Single’s Inferno Season 4 Feb 4, 2025
I got second hand embarrassment when I heard Tae-hwan constantly talking about his work dream, the cultural preserving he wanted to do, I felt soo awkward while he was yapping without even considering Jiyeon and keeping the convo alive. Looks like he's only in the show for marketing his career and club. Not for love

This season is really really bad. I watched it after hearing that it's one of the best seasons of hs Chinese version…
9 months late but I agree

I think people forget what Singles Inferno is about. This is not “My Siblings Romance” where the whole family…
fr, some people need to watch some western dating shows because some of these comments feel embarrassing to read

I'm shocked at how many people forget about this important piece of information:

THEO IS AN INSPIRING ACTOR WHO IS TRYING TO BREAK INTO HOLLYWOOD.

Isn't this the biggest inference one can make about his entire persona on the show? He is here to play the long game: win the heart of the global audience, not Si-an.

It's clearly working, seeing how he is so positively accepted and already breaking 1M followers on IG.

I really hate to break it to all you naive girls/boys out there - this man is ACTING and you can smell it from a mile away.

I'm in no way saying he's a bad person, in fact I think he's rather attractive and has a nice personality. But trust me when I say that he extremely smart and came on the show with a very carefully curated persona that worked in his favour (even the lines he say are so cheesy - can you seriously imagine a normal guy speaking like this in reality?!)

Not my demographic... this show is for audience under 20... pretty boring as a reality show but I admit they are cute

In the first episode during her intro, literally 4 minutes in, Sian said she wanted to experience a passionate kind of romance (her words: 뜨거운 = hot); whirlwhind relationship that sweeps her off her feet.

It matches perfectly with her actions and how in the recent episodes she seems to be so into Junseo suddenly. He literally ticks all the boxes.

Therefore, to everyone that says she was taken advantage of by him because of the bed scene, please stop being so dramatic and whine about everything.

It’s an entertainment show and she came to deliver exactly that, this is not a church love show

Definitely, all the other guys put her on a pedestal, treating her like they would any girl on a date in typical Seoul.

Yuk is special, he doesn't sugarcoat his words or hold back his thoughts, he speaks his mind clearly and genuinely, I think in a place like S. Korea, this behaviour is getting more and more rare.

The panel is not blaming her for liking 3 guys. Why do users hate her for it but was ok with Dex in his show? You have internal misogyny.

This is dating show, not getting married in 2 days show.

I feel sorry for Sian to get all those hate comments. Sian gave so many signs that she was just not that into…

I feel like steel troops format is a little played out atp. 3 seasons and soldiers (I guess soldiers was a spin off?) and the events are pretty much copy and pasted every time. atp i've seen enough trench wrestling and rope climbing for a lifetime.

I feel like siren and physical 100 have moved this genre forward. this series feels a little dated. i want more creative challenges. I want more spectacle.

It's 9/10 compared to most crime and thriller dramas, but you're forgiven for not knowing that considering you…
What are you talking about lol? It's like 80% melodrama and lovestory and 20% actual crime-thriller drama.

I watched it recently and I have to say it's among the most overrated dramas I've watched: characters are not very smart and the answers to the mysteries are revealed to the audience way ahead, so even if you didn't guess yourself you feel like you are watching two morons most of the time, the final episodes are the worst, I had to skip like half an hour of people crying over some stupid shit. It's not bad overall, but the 9/10 vote I've seen everywhere online is a joke. If you like actual thriller crime dramas I'd say drop it, 'cause it's mainly focused on the lead couple and their dynamic not so much on mystery/suspense and detective work

TL:DR Bitt too much of a soap opera for me, way too over dramatic, not dark enough. A romance show disguised as a thriller.

The shift in tone and genre midway through completely threw off the story, and it never managed to regain its footing. The attempt to turn it into a heavy drama with an emphasis on melodrama fell flat because the plot simply lacked the depth to carry it. To make matters worse, this shift disrupted the romantic arc. The male lead repeatedly distanced himself from the female lead, driven by his backstory and the constant scheming around him.
