I feel the exact same way, I was also quite disturbed and felt sad by the brutality during the uprising so I decided to do some research and by the looks of it It was just as brutal in real life. There were pictures of people being hit and abused just like in Youth of May. It makes this kdrama even more sad and feel even more real because the Gwangju uprising really did happen. I can't even imagine what people were going through in real life and how terrible it must have been for them :(

I get how people like this movie, it was really artistic and kinda strange to me, I didn't get so mamy scenes and details like that dead raven bird. Hey maybe it's not my style and maybe you'd like it a whole lot more it you watch it again when you feel okay.

Yess I hope she gets another role soon, this kind of character fits her so well but I also think she can play any type as well

I couldn't wait for subs too so I watched it without the first time. Romance was so unnecessary, I would have given it a 10 if it was a pure revenge drama, but it all got so messy in the end

Fake mother was killed by So Ra's dad( kidnapped and beaten to death basically) , and Ceo drove his car off with So Ra inside at the end to save Ra Ei because So Ra was going crazy trying to kill Ra Ei. Ceo died but So Ra survived and was put in a mental hospital, holding a blanket pretending it was her new baby

I barely managed to sit through the episode It was a shit show

Ceo died, revenge complete and Ra Ei gets every cent and the whole LY company( So Ra gone crazy in a mental hospital, So Ra's dad died of starvation in a cell, So Ra's lover/ bodyguard testified in court and etc) fake mother died , second male lead alive and well, female lead goes travelling and imagines Ceo is with her. bullshit ending save your time

If episodes 15 & 16 didn't happen I would have rated it a 10, mostly because Yeji did a really good job acting here
