watching the beginning of ep 31, i get the feeling that Jin zhongfang really loved Ye mingxuan but not strictly in a fraternal way but also romantically. after finding mingxuan's diary detailing his loved ones faverate things he comes across a page about him, but there is not much written because mingxuan writes he does not know what zhongfang's desires are, it is then that zhongfang smiles nostalgically and says "what i loved the most is hearing you talk about your ideals", like to me this is a downlow way of the writers confirming it without blatantly putting it out there. a way to get around censorship....!!!!
