Yeah. Zhang Yunlong love interest was Guan Xiaotong in that drama and Ju Jingyi was special appearance as Alan Yu late wife.

Is his direction good or bad?

She didn’t sing a song for her drama after Sword and Fairy 4. She is good OST singer why need someone else in her drama? Also please make unique OSTs not like usual.

I know romance isn't the main focus here, but I'm still wondering why because they've cast a well-known actress who good in romance.

She is author of the novel but not sure she is screenwriter or not. Sometimes they provide different screenwriters.

I mean her agency contracted with Drama production company. Not Only Ju Jingyi but also Shiba's other artist is playing in this drama. Maybe taking long because of Youku tight schedule or her agency not want to release this drama now.
