I said before this is female centric drama and it is hard to find actor who will take role where his character was like toy of fl character in some portion. They probably choose Leon because he is good towards female actors. He even won award for China Britain Film Festival award for Chivalry. Without that film i actually didn’t watch or completed any drama of him. Maybe for this character was required good looking manly male who age ways suitable for Huaizhu actress.

Actually, previous dramas used to prepare before starting the shooting, now the shooting starts in a hurry without preparing the script properly and thinking that if big stars act, it will be a hit. Nowadays, drama is directed badly. Actually, to make the 36 episodes of Xianxia drama well, it should take a lot of time. After selecting the hero and heroine, they should be given training for a few days, they should not start shooting in a hurry.

I don’t think she is her friend. She just promoted that drama(LGIEF) because of Wang Yixu/Stellar Media. Esther mocked her in a TV show and said to Xu Jiaqi, she is too much lipstick. But Jingyi said in an interview her favourite actress Liu Shishi. Liu Shishi replied her in the comment section. Esther Yu was idol like her from another girl group THE9 so, they share some similarity, that's why maybe acquainted but not friendship.

I don’t like his acting either but atleast he doesn’t overacts.Leon Zhang act bland and emotion less sometimes. I don’t like overacting but i can tolerate emotionless. Liu Shishi also same that's why I like her. But she is now senior nowadays many male actors doesn’t like to work in female centric drama. Maybe that's why they didn’t found any good actor opposite her. Also,I've less hope for FSMM3, because they will change original arc and will add extra layer of unnecessary plot. In anime/donghua ways 2nd part was most interesting but they changed plot to add extra episodes. Even Director and same screenwriter how you expect better.
