As far as drama go, I have a slightly different opinion, but I agree that there’s a lot of chaos in dramas these days—plots and genres get mixed up, subplots become just as important as the main ones, and so on. This is most common in historical dramas, but I’m seeing it more and more often in those set in the present day as well. In *Spooky Love*, the combination of ghosts and romance still worked, but in my opinion, mixing supernatural storylines with corporate succession plots—which already have plenty of intricate elements on their own— attempted takeovers, getting rid of rivals, and so on. That’s already a bit of a stretch, because there’s simply too much of all that in a single drama.

I agree that they should have focused on one or two storylines—either Min-hwan as a rival or a villain; ghosts or Reina’s takeover; and the ghost incidents, whether in a comedic or serious version—but instead of choosing, they crammed a little bit of everything in here, which is why the episodes simply became chaotic over time. Still, the drama was enjoyable to watch, but the plot was poorly organized.

The ending was okay—everything got cleared up, and everyone got what they deserved. I feel sorry for Jin-hwan’s mother because she lost both her sons. Also, I really think the writers could have focused more on the supernatural storyline intertwined with romance and less on the whole Min -hwan and the battles over the company takeover. Besides, I agree that Jin-hwan—even though it all started with him—really got so little screen time, even as a ghost.

So, I guess this is a title that was added to the August lineup at the last minute, because I don’t know about you, but when I was making my list of August releases, I didn’t see this one—I only spotted it today. But man, we’re getting Rome and Mok as the main couple—though the downside is that even though it’ll be Dean and Moth, it won’t be easy to switch from Rome and Mok to them.

Kirit really does have a huge ego—he thinks everything revolves around him. Rin is dating someone else just to get back at him, and on top of that, Kirit accuses Rian of following him around out of jealousy.As for Rin, he really could have told the truth. I wanted to curse my ex, but instead I cursed you, and now you’re out of luck, while I, thanks to my good fortune, can turn things around or something like that. Then, honestly, everything would have been easier for Rin, and Khobfa himself would have understood why Rin does what he does.

Just wondering—isn't the opening song some kind of anime theme song? Because I feel like I've heard it somewhere before.

You're right—it's already been corrected. I knew Season 2 was coming out, and when I typed that, the special episodes popped up, and I just had to check the day, not the year.

When it hits Netflix, it's definitely a bromance

Well, Serizawa is good. I wonder when he managed to send them to get food for Suzuki. The triplets(Serizawa's friends) are still acting like NPCs who only throw out a line of dialogue every once in a while—I’m hoping that improves as the episodes go on. And one plus: Serizawa acts like a human, but the MC still lacks freedom—but oh well, after all, he’s supposed to be shy character hiding his hobbies . Hopefully things will start moving in the next episode. Overall, it’s sweet and enjoyable show, but it really reminds me a lot of a school field trip.

Exactly, the fact that Kirit broke up with him on his birthday would’ve been okay, terribly vile but acceptable—since he broke up with him because he wanted to be with Mochi—but the jerk had been cheating on Rin with Mochi for two months, and they were still together back then, so that’s really the worst thing he could’ve done. If he’d talked to Rin and and said, “Let’s break up because I want to be with someone else,” then we could at least say Kirit isn’t such a jerk. Mochi is also to blame here because he cheated on Rin by sleeping with Kirit while Kirit was still with Rin—he didn’t say anything to Kirit like, “Let’s talk with Rin before we start dating, they both lied to Rin for two months

Yeah, that fear thing is kind of refreshing, but the fact that aside from the main characters, everyone else acts like an NPC.

I feel the same way—lately, it’s really rare to come across an ML who actually acts like an ML, you know, one with an edge, confident, and who knows exactly what they wants. Shy MLs are nice to watch too, but there are just a bit too many of them latel either that cringy. Recently, I was really disappointed by an ML—he was the one from *ChermChey*— and according to the description, he was supposed to be tough, confident, and the owner of a bar, but somehow I didn’t sense those traits in the character. In the first episode, I was like, “Wait, why does the male lead—who’s supposed to be the owner of a bar—look, dress, and even act like an accountant or something like that?”

This is getting more and more interesting—if Min-hwan and Ji-hwan are actually twins and both are in love with Yeo-ri. Min-hwan clearly has some kind of obsession with her; in fact, the accident on the yacht might not have been an accident at all—maybe Min-hwan wanted to get rid of his brother, and it’s been confirmed that it was the necklace that saved her back then.

Okay, I'm worried about his grandma—what will happen when she finds out that her future daughter-in-law is a monkey and not a goat? Although, I guess we should be more worried about Gang Uk because his grandma is going to kill him.

Maybe, but one thing's for sure—that jerk clung to poor Hinata. I'm really curious why—after all, there are plenty of others he could pick on, so why Hinata of all people?
