Too much Desire not enough Love
Watching this drama really felt like a train wreck, it's bad but you just can't quite bring yourself from taking another look. It was inconsistent and amatheurish in so many areas like storytelling and editing. The crew working on this hopefully learned allot from this project, mainly what not to do.The 2nd couple got so little air time, it would have almost been better not have a 2nd couple altogether. Even though ironically their appearance was what elevated this series and kept me watching till the end. The main couple, was only interesting as long as Hua Yong remained a mystery, as soon as he revealed his identity and his agenda it became boring. Although the title of the series then made sense. The main theme of the show is not Love, it is Desire. For viewers who like artificial, fetish and forced constructed plots this should work fine.
As for me I prefer to see sincerity and raw emotion whereas this drama could not deliver on.
The 2nd couples storyline had all the means for a great arc but was botched into oblivion. Though there were some pivotal moments that kept them interesting till the end. One being the "closet scene" was not SA, Even though Gao Tu was trying to get away at first he is then shown to initiate a kiss or wanting to kiss Shen Wen Lang which to me was crucial to include.

Funny but surprisingly deep as well
For me a must watch, mini series joyride that contains allot of wisdom. It's concise, gave out all the necessary context, depicts all of life's trails & tribulations, in a YA school setting.
A young sweet guy who's life has been mostly set backs and hardships yet manages to find motivation and happiness to keep going with a smile through it all. While the slightly older guy who has lost his motivation recently and is overall quite fed up with his life even though he seems to have all the tools needed for an easy ride.
Hang Sa is unrestrained and openly charges forward confessing his crush and part of his life story which overwhelms the introverted Jin Won who reluctantly accepts that Hang Sa's presence in his life is a blessing.
There are some cliche trope plots such as the dept collector, poor parentless child sob story, display of physical violence, which is quite common for dramas from Asia, so I personally wasn't much fazed by it anymore, but for someone who is not yet used to it it could be quite triggering.
In this case I feel it made sense for the story, to show the stark contrast and pressure Hang Sa is facing yet he still manages to keep the severity of his situation a secret from the people around him. The moral of the story here is you never know what someone is gong through in their life, so always be as kind and considerate as you can manage.
Also don't be too proud to accept help or and ask for help from others, don't stubbornly try to silently solve problems for yourself, if your life is in danger.
Both actors were very good in showing the necessary depth and emotional state of the characters. The dialogue and chemistry were good, both characters have their own flaws and misunderstandings to overcome before they can find one another and be happy together. One of the best lines in this show is "to love you have to be equal". This line could easily be understood out of context as in status, wealth etc.
When in reality it is perspective, if you love someone you will always see them as an equal. Love is selfless and unconditional. All the societal structures mean nothing when it comes to love. Hence Jin Won was never angry that Hang Sa took the opportunity and won the race, He respected him for it and was happy for him albeit being surprised. What made him angry was that afterward he just disappeared and changed his Passcode.
While being so funny and cute the drama is also highly mature in context of dialogue and thought process of the characters.
Hence the mixed revives and ratings imo.
I really enjoyed it and can recommend it.

Random body switches into the opposite sex? Stranger things have happened to me last week...
Seen this plot quite a few times but never has it been less "exciting".The whole story was a bit too broad, too many side stories that didn't needed to be explored as much and didn't add anything to the main story line. The way it was portrayed seemed almost nonchalant to the fact that such a monumental situation occurred.
Characters seemed OTT specially the 2d girl (Love interest). The ML should have set some more boundaries towards her when he noticed his "friend" not backing off. It came across as if he liked having his ego stroked by two women fighting over him, which is not something you let happen when you are in love.
All in all it was average fleeting entertainment, nothing memorable.
