Whoever added the 'Crime Against Morality' tag deserves a free candle-lit dinner with the person of their choice, along with a healthy dose of money prepared to-go. This show really is genuinely criminal with how bad it is and they don't even have an excuse, other than the fact that it was made by Star Hunter. (Which now that I think about it could actually count as a valid excuse... They really are shit at making use of the resources available)
Just watched the first episode and I can say with well-earned confidence that that was rough. From the questionable sound management to the disconnected acting and even the meh directing. This was unerringly mediocre. If this were still the first wave of Thai GLs I'd say they did an amazing job with what they had. But it wasn't even excusable. How could a single episode last 40 mins and make me feel so little, like I've been robbed of my time, with nary a mark to show for it.
I just want good chemistry and expressive faces!! Is that too much to ask for?
For such a big project I'm truly disappointed in the editing and directing that went into it. Even the sound could've used a better hand. The story is good enough for me to finish it all, so I truly can't see why they made it feel so empty with the shot angles and caricature ass villains.
I swear I'm gonna get a muscle cramp from all the bristling this second hand embarrassment has me doing. They really need a warning for the copious amounts of cringe behaviour in ep 2!!
Loved the story and the plot twist at the end. The production team did an amazing job with this short drama; it was perfectly executed. The actors also looked like they gave it their all to bring the characters to life with their mannerisms and expressions. 10/10 would rewatch again!!
