I always confuse "Story of Yanxi Palace" and "Dong Yi"
While I have nothing but pure love for both series, I genuinely cannot tolerate / stomach the King in "Story of Yanxi Palace". He rubs me the wrong way and my dislike never lessen as the series progress. I started & never stop skipping his scenes.

You are one of few people to give this show an honest review. The over the top high score Douluo Continent been getting --makes me roll my eyes, honestly. I was really hyped for it and had it on my waitlist for some time, but it quickly fell short and I couldn't bring myself to invest in it anymore.
I also think a lot of people overlook the ML not-so-good-acting in the series because we love him in The Untamed and that's the reason for the favoured high scores
You are right about the amount of information given all at once (dropped it 3 times before I could finally finish it) It was really overwhelming. I am sure by ep 15-20 most watchers don't remember half of that info: character names / clan / family ties / LOL
I think it should have been split into 2... maybe then it wouldn't feel like a complete overload.

The Max boys, Tul and company TV Thunder have announced that we will have a Special Chapter or Special Manner of Death Chapter. Once the chapter is over, the memories will always spread.
Whoever already saw Manner of Death Chapter 14 FINAL has an open ending. But... BAD thing it will be paid ... GOOD thing the boys have multiple proposals or are considering them for a new SERIES!!!!! Let's wait for it!!!

Thanks for highlighting that because I honestly dropped this series when I thought he loved the second wife more. I always feel bad for the women that must married these men who are in love with someone else and basically overlook their "first" wife. I wasn't up for it this time and drop the series (lol) although it's good

Even if DB&M get a remake, I fear Pin Jun fate will not be speared. Not because they had a good relationship means they will stay together till the end. It's just one of those things. It happens in real life too.
Honestly, even if Hai Qing did not end up with Yan Fei--they would have still cheated. Even once! They are deeply attracted to each other, and the novel made that very clear. Yes! Hai Qing could've stayed at Pin Jun side, but would that have made either of them any happier? Hai Qing simply decided not to settle (like so many people do in their life) even for the love Pin Jun has for him. No matter how right it seems! So whether Yan Fei was right for him... whether they would breakup in two / three months-- was a gamble Hai Qing was willing to take because that high level of passion and attraction he felt for Yan Fei was worth it! It was real, and Hai Qing wanted it. He was drawn to it like a moth to a flame.
People also seem to think that Hai Qing had stopped wanting Yan Fei because he's dating Pin Jun (laughable!) that wasn't the case at all. He never stopped wanting Yan Fei. He just set Yan Fei aside until fate brought them together again.

I am none of the above! And I stand by what I said. I am just sick of seeing decent drama getting low-ratings. And I mean overall. I have seen so many poor BL series with high-ratings, I am shocked. But as I mentioned before, that's because they are mostly filled with horny boys ready to jump each other. Sex is so highly associated with BL, I bet no one would have such expectations with a girl-love-girl series. U have ur opinion and I have mine. Mine won't change and neither will yours.
Anyone who gave UWMA low-ratings, cannot .... I repeat ... CANNOT -- recommend any drama and I watch it! I literally wouldn't believe in anything these people have to say.
Until We Meet Again is, without doubt, among BL top 10 / anyone who say otherwise are idiots with tiny brains that rather horny boys riding each other since those BL typically get the most high-ratings
The plot is very interesting. The actors are as beautiful as the colours surrounding them, but it lacks something. It's just ... Yoo Han character is a bit bland. I don't feel connected to him at all. It's like he's just there because he needs to be there, you know.
Wow! Just WOW!!! This is one hell of a heart wrenching movie. 10 /10! Regardless of how it all turned out, Hwayi father (s) all loved him in their own f%ked up way
I don't think one needs to watchJumong first. I watched Kingdom of the Winds be4 Jumong and understood it perfectly.
In simple tearms: Main Lead (Moo Hyul) is Jumong's grandson.

Definitely a one time watch, at least for me.
