I couldn’t even finish this s2 for so many reasons. I didn’t even get past ep3.
It’s so sad that people who claimed they are true fans of s1 get so easily carried away by kissing / lovey-dove scenes in s2. It’s like that’s all they cared about. Let’s all overlook the awfulness of s2 and focus on them making out. SMH!
If you are looking for strong FL give Love and Redemption a try, if you haven’t already. Be warned… the misunderstanding is insane but it’s worth the watch.
Well I agree. Harry Potter is one of the most legendary things. I won't like it if it gets a remake but we were…
They do be looking hella neat -- for real. The crazy thing... even when their character is homeless they still somehow look decent. Hahaha. Still loving their dramas thou
I feel like there is something really old-fashioned, ordinary and English about Harry Potter that wouldn't properly…
I thought the same when I saw Jing Tian as Ginny Weasley. She's just too pretty. Hahahaha! Harry Potter C-Drama... Maybe it could work or maybe not. It will either be good or really bad.
And even under this drama, Love and Redemption was mentioned again. For me, LR was the most lame drama of 2020.…
To each there own.
I enjoyed Ashes of Love, but wouldn’t watch it a second time. As for the other drama, to me, it wasn’t that outstanding and also wouldn’t re-watch. It’s long, slow; the fighting scenes is so minimal it’s almost non-existent, and frankly, quite average.
If we comparing ML. Please, let’s. Because the ML in Ten Miles Of Peach Blossom was “Oh, so great”. Dwl!! And the FL in AOL was is no more sensible than FL in Love and Redemption. Laughable!!! Even if she couldn’t love because a pill, what about common sense? She’s freaking stupid with zero ounce of common sense and can’t read an atmosphere to save her own life.
And that little attempt of redemption in the end (giving up seeing colour) oh, please!! I have said numerous times that FL in AOL and L&R didn’t suffer enough for what they put ML through. Yu Sifen suffered because that was his choice. He endured it all for the woman he loved, same as the ML in AOL. But worse of all is the ML in Ten Miles of Peach Blossom — not a ounce of backbone. But yeah, he’s so great. So great that he turned a blind eye as his very weak human wife got abuse and suffered at the hands of immortals.
Kang Seo Joon smile is everything... it's literally the only thing I connected to. Lol!
On a more serious note thou … Silfie Korea, I wanted to write my review after watching but when I noticed the million positive feedbacks, I was like... "Did we all watched the same drama?" I just couldn't get it. I still don't get it.
When you have a mini series -- actors must put in a lot of effort to make us (viewers) feel greatly affected, but I didn't get that here. So... I was left wondering if I had miss something that should deeply moved because of all the high ratings "To My Star" is getting.
There are so many things I don't get, and don't buy. But I guess they thing because it is a drama viewers will just accept without question, otherwise... How could they leave so many plot holes? They must think we are idiots.
It took me a few times over a long period of time to finish this series. It does have a lot of draggy parts (perhaps because it's so heavily dialogue) which brings me to the issue I had.
TOO MUCH INFORMATION!
My brain was literally dying from information overlade.
50 eps and less than half way throu I can't recall most of what was said. People names. Clan names. Who is related to who. Hahahaha! Maybe it was just me but there's no way I could watch this again.
I also had a lot of issue with this drama, especially after watching the anime version.
The "childish acting" is definitely the director / script-writer fault. I say this because I have seen quite a few of Yang Yang dramas and he does very well in his craft. But you can only work with what you are present with or how you are guided. Again, director / script-writer messed up.
I hope there will be a re-make of Martial Universe... one that will give some justice to both novel and anime.
I honestly feel the same way about the FL. She's 25 yrs. old in present time... yet she goes into the past and act as if she's had a man her entire life...SMH! I guess she never had any who fight over her, so... I find her character useless. It’s just that simple. 4th was the only one who kept me watching, hadn’t it been for him, I just couldn’t
I think I've never had more frustrations in my life than during this drama.*slight spoilers*I don't know what…
I don't think Moon Lovers is not as outstanding as people make it out to be. You are right. So many things could have been written better, bad sally, they failed.
I am at lost whenever I read about their "great love" because after watching, I fail to see any of that. Why? Series is 20 eps. FL spent 12-13 eps pining over the 8th PRINCE...
I don’t see why that love-tringle had to go for so long, and the transition between FL relationship from 8 to 4th wasn’t done properly. I wasn’t convince of her love for 4th, but I did see her love for 8, which I think stayed with her even while she dated 4th
I found it a depressing drama.Really means reallly not a single love story ended happily, all the good characters…
And she didn't do much of anything in the past either. She had knowledge, but what she do with it? Lot of people end up dying because she talks without thinking and trust all the wrong ones I only stayed with this series because of 4th
My issue stem from our FL. Honestly, I can't see the "great" love between our leads. NO! Correction... our 4th prince loves her to death, but FL literally spend 10-13 eps pinning over the 8th prince and constantly overlooking 4th prince regardless of what he does for her. I was not convince about her dying love for him either. 4th prince, yeah, I could see, feel and hear his love for her.
4th prince save this show! He was the most intriguing one
I ain't going lie... I dropped after just one ep! At the time I wasn't aware of the anime but still, I had expectations, you know. Right off the bat, I said this role is not for HIM and someone called me out for bulling... smh! When I finally check out the anime I got the same whiplash I had after discovering the anime version for Martial Universe, and how much better it was compared to the tv series.
I do think Yang Yang would be a good pick as lead. Even though Martial Universe wasn't the greatest, it's fail success fall on the series writer / director. Yang Yang is really good in his craft and had many lead roles. I believe he just did what was presented to him as Lin Dong character
