"Wife" is a term they usually call the smaller, less manlier lead or who everyone would assume to be the bottom. This puts them in a hierarchy that the dude that is not the "wife" is superior than the one called "wife". They're both guys, why does one need to be a "wife"? They are assuming that "wife" person is the "woman" in that relationship.
I'm not saying its wrong or anything and that you shouldn't find it swoon worthy., Its just my preference. I don't like how they heteronormalize it. Haha. Anyway, you can google more on it if I didn't explain it well. Hehe.
Waah love this webtoon huhu. Hopefully we get a decent series. And since the webtoon is done (i think) the story is not cut off. Excited who Ye Chan is gonna be.
