Mystery...mystery...and a hint of comedy!
Synanthrope is set in a local burger shop that immeditately catches your eyes by its odd energy, coming whether from the place itself, the custumers and/or the people working there. The acting is impecable and the hints of comedy here and there definitely makes the viewing experience better.Very interesting use of birds throughout the entirety of the drama and I love how each character is assimilated to a kind of bird, very fun!
I believe this story to be deeper than what it seems. There are some very raw and genuine dialogues such as "I just stay still. By just staying still, people forget I'm there and they keep running their mouth. I just listent to that." Besides, its 4D chracaters are, imho, a direct mirror of the world and society we live in today.
I'm very excited for the rest~~

A slice of life drama like only Japan can do...
I started this after seeing a picture of it on twitter and what can I say, I've only watched one episode and yet I feel like i've found an absolute gem! It's slice of life only like Japan can do, quite realistic and already brought up important subjects and highlighted some of today's society issues regarding queer people and the youth in Japan. I feel like this is gonna be one of those found family drama and I'm so excited for the rest <3

A fresh travel variety show!
I love Jang Doyeon, her comedy really works well with me and I love travelling shows so this was perfect for me. For now, I watched the first 2 episodes with Byun Yohan, and just like during Salon drip, their chemistry is off the chart. All extremely funny but also always nice to witness an actor in such an environment! Very excited for the rest! Was this review helpful to you?
