Only watched 1 episode. For those that might have read the novel. is most of what was in there made up? It seems…
Since they cant adapt the reincarnation part, a lot of changes were made in the first episode to make sure things make some sense.
In the novel, she just wakes up in another He Yan's body so there's no scene of her being saved by her master from the water in the beginning unlike the drama. Her master's first entry in the novel is much later during the Jiyang City arc where we come to know that before He yan had become General feihong, when she was just a small soldier, he had saved her and trained her.
Also in the novel, since the new body she wakes up in was that of a delicate lady, when He yan became He yan 2.0, she had a tough time with training initially but pulled through.
After she enters the camp in ep 2 most of the important events like the match between He yan, wang ba, n jiang jiao n the capture the flag thing, the wolf attack scene-> all these are mostly the same as the novel. Also Xiao Jue doesn't find out about her identity till chapter 100 which seems to be around ep 9 in the drama.
I think based on the storyline so far (with the changes and such), I think they will make He Yan reclaim her title…
Yeah I hope so true....after all she spent so much effort becoming General Feihong... It was a bit sad in the novel that she cudnt acknowledge her true identity but I guess with the reincarnation thing it was inevitable
