Now everything i see Sangguan Zi i will remember that 'scar face woman'. It makes me uncomfortable. They should make the background story more shorter so audience didn't take Yang Caiwei real face deepen. But no.. they make her to steal the show in one whole first episode (first episode!! The most important one) and half of second episode.
So director, writerim, or whatever behind this weird decision role in first episode, they should learn how to swap lead character in Jun Jiuling. That drama make background story shorter but still impactful so audience didn't care much the figurant face artist only the story.

So basically second FL appear and steal the show in whole first episode when main FL not get a single scene? Its still weird for me. I got confused who is the main lead now. If thats the case, at least they can make Sangguan Zi appears just a glimpse to make first impression to audience because first episode is important.

Why the use other actress to play Yang Caiwei in ep one? It's okay if they use a figurant to play FL characters before rebirth but not a whole episod especially in first episode when the main artist Ju Jingyi doesn't appear at all. A glimpse for background story, 15 minutes, 30 minutes its still acceptable. People who don't see the cast list will think that woman is the main character and start supporting her to be with ML. And after that FL suddenly changed into someone else. As a viewer, seeing ML giving Yang Caiwei a loving look and then in the next episode with Shangguan Zi with totally different face made me uncomfortable. Is there a rule that they must have to use extra actresses to play the rebirth scene and it can't be the same artist? But many xianxia dramas can do that and the reuters of upcoming drama Female General He Yan and He Yan after rebirth still played by the same artist I think.

So Youku really want this to face to face with Legend of Shenli instead drop in early March?

I think Judge Dee Mystery is like Chinese paladin in some part like got a lot adaptation and so Judge Dee name is known in China. And this drama cast Zhou Yiwei so the budget is big so most people include me got high expectation to this drama adaptation.

I always think Ziying actor is look like Mao ZiJun. Then i pay attention to the cast and shocked cuz he is really Mao Zijun. Still can't believe he accept playing 2ml in this drama. Hope his agency doesn't neglected him.

Actually, i find she improved her acting really well in this. I'm sure Han Lingsa will got character development.

I didn't pay much attention to the cast and after ep 5 i always find Murong Yizing look similar to actor Mao Zijun who played Yi Yingren in Haolan. Then i turn back to this page and laugh when i see his name. So he's really Mao Zi Jun lol. Idk he look more young in this style and actually i got shocked he played second male lead. Did his career stuck or what. He such a talented actor who played so well in The Legend of Haolan.

After watching 3 episodes, this is actually quite good. The CGI is top notch which make the drama eyes pleasing. The story line and characterization is not bad and Ju Jingyi acting has improved. I like her.

Btw Murong Ziying got Lan Wangji vibe😁. After this i must rewatch The Untamed XD.

She is the chief goddess afterall. The chosen one who rule the three realm. Her status is highest among the true gods. (Even in this drama, they downgrade how powerful ancient god is). That is way when Bai Jue (one of the four true god) teaching her the two other remind him to not too far. And this is xianxia who take place in the God realm in first 15-16 episodes. The god realm is obeying the rule, and the ruler is her.

Yes. Im so disappointed that they down grade it to lord and butler etc. Maybe the budget? But i think it still non sense. Anyway, as a reader of the novel, I can't take this drama as 'adaptation'. It's like new story. So in the end if she end up with ZXW and not with HRZ, i can't mad cause this is not adaptation this is just drama with same character name. Even Hua Wian transmigated is erased 😁.

Because life is must goes on. I think the writer want to show reader how their life separated after 'the incident in the palace'. Years later, Hua Qian got happy peaceful life with Hua Rong Zhou, so ZXW should get his happines in his palace even though it's not Hua Qian, his hidden love (his true love). I think there is methapore in extra, when ZXW burn the letters about Hua Qian life from his shadow guard, their story end.

Just in extra. I don't know she will become empress or just concubine because before this, ZXW didn't have empress but he have 3 thousand beauties (Hu Qian states that 😁). Because he has no empress, the inner palace still in empress dowager and concubine Qi (the most highly concubine in ZXW harem). One reason why Hu Qian didn't trust ZXW is because he know that concubine Qi is the one who kill Hua Qian playboy brother (at first Hua Qian didn't like her brother and all of Hua Qian family but she changes her view about them). Hua Qian think ZXW didn't want to take her revenge (he promises her to find the true killer behind her brother dead) because he afraid. And ZXW always threatening her with her father corruption (Hua Qian father is prime minister). And yes, i also wonder how this drama will end. Maybe Fl come back in modern era and meet reincarnation of ZXW? But i will sad if they do this cause it erase the uniqueness of thr novel.
