I'm confused by the synopsis. She disguises herself as her brother and goes to war, comes back a hero, is exposed. She then assumes a new identity, but still with her own name, and disguises herself as a man again?
It's just a matter of detail. Small screen and lower resolution has less detal, so it "blends" together…
Oh wow lol. That bts, it still looks bad. I think its due to the fact that there's no feeling of depth to the background, and the footage for it seems to be in a lower fps than what they use for the show.
the way the cgi quality changes from devices... I wonder if its a matter of rendering
It's just a matter of detail. Small screen and lower resolution has less detal, so it "blends" together on the screen making bad greenscreen, lower resolution cgi etc. harder to notice.
Whereas watching on a bigger screen with higher resolution makes it easier to see detail, and you notice all the things that might not look that great.
I've noticed some very bad greenscreen and lighting in the scene where he flies on his leaf. But I've seen much worse, and luckily it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the drama. :D
does it mean Han Li has low innate talent or ability? Then why was Mo Juren so excited about him?
Yes there is, but from what I understand after deity transformation, a cultivator ascends to a higher realm, a different world. This won't be relevant in this drama though.
interesting beginning. It's scary how 2 novice , desperate youth are groomed without knowing what they are groomed…
In the novel he's only 10 at the beginning, which obviously isn't the case for this drama. He's probably supposed to be around 15-16 at the start of the drama. So probably around 19-20 when he leaves at tier 6. But that's just my guess... :)
They haven’t said anything about the name other than them becoming friends and HL wanting LF’s name to be…
No cultivator would ever think to look for a mortal. So giving his potential enemies Li Feiyu's name doesnt affect Li Feiyu in any way, since the mortal and cultivator worlds are somewhat seperate. :)
Well, since Li Feiyu isn't a cultivator, no cultivator would ever think to look for a mortal. So it's pretty smart of Han Li, and also a way to get Li Feiyu's name well known ;)
There's the first stage called Qi condensation, which has 13 layers/tiers. (Where Han Li currently is in episode 4 at the 6th tier) Then it's Foundation Establishment with early, middle, late and peak tiers Then Core Formation with the same early, middle, late and peak Then Nascent Soul Realm, early, middle, late, peak Then Deity Transformation Realm, same
Loved the first 4 eps. A bit fast paced imo despite the first 3 eps being like an hour long lol but still really…
Looking at the trailers released so far, these 30 episodes will most likely adapt up to ep 63 of the donghua, which is the end of the first big "chapter" of Han Li's journey.
First 2 episodes were a really good start :D But episode 3 and 4 is where my enjoyment really skyrocketed. Amazing episodes, I thoroughly enjoyed them. I can't wait to see more :D
As a big fan of the donghua, I'm very pleased with this adaptation so far, and Yang Yang is doing a really good job as Han Li. It's different from the donghua, Yang Yang's Han Li is more lively, but I'm enjoying it a lot :D
Gina Jin, oh!She used to know how to act, I swear to all the non-existent drama gods, I hope she remembers how…
The character she plays has a very small role in the donghua/original novel. They've said they're following the source material closely. If they do, I estimate we can probably expect to see her for about 8 episodes max, but more likely 5-6 episodes. But that all depends on how they're adapting this, they could have given her a bigger role, but as mentioned in a previous comment, it seems like they cut back on her scenes, and that's why she's not promoting the show. Who knows... We'll find out soon :) As long as Yang Yang does a good job as Han Li, I don't really care much about how the other actors are, as every character besides Han Li, have very small roles. Of course it's a plus if the actors are good, but this drama will be like 90% Han Li, so that's the most important part.
They aren't adapting the whole story. It will most likely adapt up to episode 63 of the dongua. Each episode of the donghua is about 15-20 mins. So with 30 episodes of about an hour's length each, the pacing should hopefully be fine :D

Yes, it's very ML focused.
