Love it.....as long as Seo Dal Mi and Han Ji Pyung end up together. His relationship with his grandma was priceless. I'm already emotionally invested in the story from the beginning. Dal Mi fell in love with her pen pal so it will be a tragedy if Ji Pyung and her grandma don't reveal the truth; the sooner the better. Dal Mi falling for Nam Joo Hyuk would be extremely disappointing because he's an impostor and it would be a tragedy if she fell for the wrong man.

No. You can dive straight into this season. Each season can stand alone.

Sorry for the late reply. I saw season 1 but I like season 2 better. It's actually a personal preference because season 1 got more positive reviews. Watch season 1 and see if you like 1 or 2.

Song Hye Kyo is 37 years old, same age as Jo In Sung, Lee Dong Gun is 38 and So Ji Sub is 41. They're close in age so the men being too old for me is really a non-issue, even if they're given an entry level position because the story revolved around the encounter between the main characters. The issue was that the pairing of SHK and PBG lacked the passion and chemistry I was looking for in this type of drama. I did not say that Park Bo Gum character was effeminate..rather he looked effeminate and therefore, in my opinion, did not fit the role of someone SHK's character would fall for. Being "pretty" is not suited for this type of heavy, character driven, emotional drama. If the drama was similar to say, "Strong Girl Bong-Soon," a comedy/fantasy/romance type of drama, then the partnership of SHK and PBG would have worked. I want a hunk (even if he cried) to portray Kim Jin Hyuk not a "pretty man." This is just my personal opinion and I'm sure other viewers enjoyed this drama. It's just that I have to be engaged with the characters and they should be convincing for me to enjoy the series.
