I love both WoH and this, but while this got a tragic ending, WoH got a happy ending, which is kind of confusing because imo the romantic undertones are way more visible in WoH. Of course I might be wrong because I haven't seen the most recent episodes of K&H, I'm only keeping up with the youtube subbed version. I believe the script writer or director could've left the ending at 26:55 and it would be all good. Honestly WoH have left my expectations high for bl/bromance chinese dramas, because if they can do it, then other series can as well. Though I understand K&H is nowhere close to being as popular as WoH so they don't have as much leeway. Anyways they can't be compared because they're both good in their own ways

I feel the same way... I love this show so much, but looking at how many people die in this just makes me depressed. They let you get attached to a character and you start liking them, but minutes later they die. I don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless they are ready for the sadness and constant death. Don't get me wrong this drama is probably in my top 5 at least (I'm still new to dramas and especially asian dramas, so i haven't watched many). Relationship between the leads is amazing, if it wasn't for the ending I would easily recommend this to everyone.

Sadly I think even if we had one, no one would actually see it... I also doubt they would do anything to change this just because of how unpopular this series is. :(

Well it will last a while longer for international fans. For chinese watchers it ends on 23rd of march but for international watchers on may 5th
