I want her to do more roles like "Everybody loves charles", maybe some thriller and slice of life dramas too. Acting wise this drama doesn't bring out her best. Her role as a stand up comedian doesn't really do anything as it just looks like every other role she has done so far. I loved MG and ALSB and even Another Me but after that the dramas she did were so generic. Not that I don't love romance dramas, but this drama's premise is shallow and would become boring as it goes on. It would be better if she did dramas like "Amidst a snowstorm of love". As per the promo you are talking about, honestly I didn't like it. The aesthetic is good but her role reminds me of a lot less appealing version of Chen Xiaoxi. At the end of the day I am her fan and I want the best for her. I will watch this drama and hope it becomes a huge success. Also Can't wait for The Comic Bang hope it gets aired soon. That drama trailer even attracted non cdrama watchers.

As much as I love Shenyue the synopsis doesn't look promising. I have been wanting to see these two act together since 2019(also very happy to know that these two are besties in real life). I wanted it to have a different plot line not the same old moody ml and sunshine fl. I am kind of done with that trope. Hoping to god I am wrong and this turns out to be a good one.
