So, I read the part until the reunion after CWN’s death, basically the one translated by Rynn. I read this last year and stopped there, thinking that it was the end 😂. And then in April (when the airing rumor got so strong), I found the remaining chapters and tried reading them…but the translation was just too difficult to get…until I got a very good one from someone in this page 2 months ago. I think I spent almost a month on/off reading the rest…. But yes, I did skip some parts mostly because of the ‘explicit’ parts and also because I was in a rush to find out the truth!

To all the book readers, I want to ask, is there any key information or crucial parts of the story in the ‘s*xual explicit’ parts? I skipped all those parts because I don’t feel comfortable reading such details of intimate scene. Just to be clear, I have nothing against BL, it’s the same uncomfortable feeling I feel even if it is between male & female. So now after a few discussions here, I wonder if I missed any important parts which were explained during these ‘intimate’ parts. If so, I might face my uncomfortable feels for the sake of getting more understanding of the novel and will try to read those chapters marked with s*xual content 😂

I do think ChengYi is a good actor. I just hope he will experiment and challenge himself by taking more different roles like comedic, outgoing, mischievous etc. I feel like I keep seeing him wearing the same cold, serious, painful face for almost all his roles…

Chinese for me is interesting because their vocabularies are so rich sometimes a chinese sentence or poetry cannot be simply translated into other languages without losing some parts of its true meaning. Plus, they said once you master chinese, you can easily learn japanese and korean…

I don’t have discord but I can try to find out how to get one. The plan is to either re-group and camp on another drama page where all of us have mutual interest for, or create a new place. But this will happen after Immortality finishes and I think this is still far from happening 😞

Yes, I did, but not because of Immortality. I decided to learn chinese after I watched AoL. Gosh, AoL is the c drama that got me fall deep into the whole c drama world. That’s why I then commit to support the 3 leads ever since. I read people’s comments that the novel was so different from the drama so I wanted to read. But I wanted to read it in its original language, so I started to learn. And long story short, I end up being so invested in 2ha instead and never really looked for AoL novel anymore (though I watched the drama twice, and re-watched some scenes once in a while). So, it’s been a year, and yet my level is still up to reading a 10-page children book with pictures 😂

I too watch and read other stuffs. Actually, I never really feel frustrated or disappointed to the extreme level, quite the opposite…I enjoy the hype, it helps a lot 😂, plus probably the novel is quite new to me and I keep discovering new information about the story during the discussion.

Haha, we all wish! But I actually prefer LYX’s other dramas not to air together with hyx. I want to really focus on only seeing him as CWN, I don’t think I can handle watching him as CWN and as someone else in modern drama at the same time 😂
